Coming back from playing the game for a while, the gatekeeping aspect with very strong units at the start of a location is just bizarre, it wasn't as bad in the ice lands, but I absolutely despise the ghosts, since I didn't get the best food recipes, as I haven't realized for a long time how important the food is for the late game. (Since the ghosts will get like 700 health buffs even in normal encounters - I guess the idea is to just build your roster differently for this area, but the game isn't really made for quick switching of "builds".) Hopefully the devs will continue balancing the game, because outside of the starting area, the 2 additional areas often don't make much sense (many items especially in the undead area make no sense to ever buy, you have nowhere even close to sell them, and you can buy them much closer to the areas that actually want them) and it's just one huge grind. Grinding for the area rewards especially, I guess I'll be checking the game again in like a year. For 3 euros, it's a steal either way, I'm happy with the experience.

Was wondering why KZbin wasn't recommending me your videos anymore. Turns out there's only been half a dozen made in the last 9 months! Is this a change in direction? Longer but less videos? Or just a side effect of other things in life? New mic (or settings?) sounds a bit muffled though, like treble is turned way down.

@@trmplays Standard 2.0 desktop speakers (specifically Creative Gigaworks T40 II). I checked backwards and it seems the Norland video was the first with the new mic sound, but not as muffled as this video. Videos before that one are much clearer. There's also some plosives, but there were plosives with the old sound, so I'm not sure if you actually changed mics or not. Still, it sounds like the gain is up a bit too high for the current closeness as well as what I'm assuming is a treble EQ setting (don't do audio work, just hear differences with rudimentary knowledge). Anyway, thanks for informing me about your second channel. Can you add it as a link from this one? Those circle thumbnail things at the bottom of channel info are usually how I find people's alt channels.
