I absolutely love FS22, but it is really a step backwards for the leasing system in this game. The fact that you can't see the leasing cost up front like you could in 19 is crazy. If you don't have enough money to lease it you're in the dark on how much it actually costs and they don't have any mention of per day cost either. I hope they fix this at some point. I don't know why they changed it. This series is super entertaining, Daggerwin, keep up the good job!

2:05 That grass you painted won't start growing on it's own like it did in fs19. Now we need to go into the plant section and plant a meadow over the grass paint. 9:22 Why don't you fertilize the grass? Even grass need 1 application. You've been past that area with the spreader so many times, and skip it every time lol. Even better if you get a grass roller, it'll give you free fertilizer + another 5% yield. Just remember to use it before the grass start regrowing, the roller will reset it to the first stage. 15:33 The lorry could easilly get a full tanker out of the river, even easier if you go to the shallow spot by the lake. That MAN is built for agriculture, this kind of stuff is what it's supposed to do. 26:21 It's only 9 am, and with only 1 day months it means it's just barely out of the november price range. Check again in the evening and it might have moved closer to the high end of the december range. But, even if the graph says so it's no guarantee it will actually happen, from what I can tell it's meant more as a rough guideline to how the price is more likely to change.

He compared prices before, and it was something barely noticable, like $100 (yes I know he's in pounds, but I don't have that symbol on my phone) less for the same amount. The big bags just barely win out, giving you more fertilizer for your dollar (quid, pound, pence? 🤷)

If he would allow time down, v that would allow the market fluctuations to keep up with time. As it is, he moves through an entire month in a single game day. Hard for the ai to keep up with that. It is very easy in a field like that to know where you fertilized. You just note the coordinates at the end of the field, you add the half of your tool width and then you just try to go straight. You can see the compass at your map to be at 90, 180, 270 or 360 degrees. At the next line you add the whole width of your tool to the previous number and you go.

Fertilizing and Weeding when the crops are coming in are hard in FS22. There's no indicator that lets you know if you're covering everything completely (unless you constantly check your map every 5 seconds). Even having a slight discolorization of where you've been would be helpful.

The price fluctuation chart currently only represents autosell markets. In fact, on average, daily sell-point prices almost chart completely opposite. Until this is fixed (if unintended) you really just have to watch sell-points every day and look for the nice 130-140% bumps.

I read the title «WORKING IN THE BIGGEST FIELD ON THE MAP!» and thought, will we see land leasing in Farming Simulator 24? I think it is the logical progression, and if they tie it to farming contracts «deliver X bushels of "grain" on month Y» it makes even more sense because you could take a larger contract even if you don't own enough land, although you should still consider the machinery you have available, which would also work as a balance factor to balance such feature it should take a big chunk of the profit, but one successful contract would be enough to allow you to upgrade your machinery
@holden30833 жыл бұрын
👍. That’s one thing I hope comes back. Is the dynamic map. When it comes to fertilising.
@mikebaker24363 жыл бұрын
This may have been addressed somewhere: The Price Fluctuations page seems to show the range of price for the month so it can be anywhere along the bar. It is similar to stock and commodity tracking UI in the real world. So, as an example, in the corn at 26:14, the BEST red price in Nov is better than the WORST price in Dec because the red bar at its highest is higher than the next green bar at its lowest. The BEST red price in Aug is higher than the WORST green price for Jul (which would be an average Aug price). So there is alot of rdm in these ranges.

@@podkriznikaljaz No, with precision farming you could control the amount of fertiliser you wanted on the soil. Every crop needed different amount of fertiliser. But you had that feature, to have live image of your fertilised part of the field. It was very handy. Giants will bring it to FS22 sometime next year. It probably needs a lot of effort to make it work in the new game, so they announced that they won't have it when the game released but they will released it later. Daggerwin, I saw at the end of the video and you skipped the day, the framerate dipped quite a bit. I suggest changing the cloud quality from High to Medium or even Low. From what I've heard, during the cold months, the clouds can really decrease your framerate by 20 or so FPS. I was having the same issue, especially during Autumn and Winter. I changed it to Medium and haven't had a framerate issue since. As well as that, you will see little to no visual decreasemeant. Hope this helps. :)

I, like dagger himself, thought this was from the trees. But the clouds make more sense. Ok i have a question that i havent been able to find an answer to. Ok with the seasons in fs22 being implemented into planting and price of crops, does the seasons affect the used machinery? i know irl, you tend to see a change in new and used machinery if its outside of harvest season. For example, are you more likely to see a harvester in the winter after harvest in used machinery and in summer its mostly implements and the occasional tractor? I think that would be a cool feature to add to the seasonal changes that they already have in game.

The price fluctuatings are represented by a bar. So if last month it was at its highest possible point in the bar and this month on its lowest it does make sense that the price is lower. Since the lowest possible price for the next month is higher it should go up no matter what by quite a bit. That is assuming I read the graph correctly of course.

The way the market is scripted in the game, it has to be able to fluctuate up and down. The more days you have in each month, the closer the fluctuations will represent the chart. When you're flying through on one day a month, it is unable to fluctuate up and down, within the limitations of the script, quick enough to match the chart.
