Loving the playthrough! I don't get Giants sometimes. They make all sorts of immersion improvements, but they make beekeeping and greenhouses overly simplistic. Greenhouses: yeah I mean we don't need to dump 2000l a day in manure like we did in previous versions, but come on, how bout fertilizer and nutrients? Beekeeping: Look no further than the system used in Hof Bergmann... Buy honeycomb frames and bees, load up the bee house, let bees do their thing for a few days, come back and remove the frames, put them into the extractor and then fill the honey tub. It may SOUND like a lot of work, but it's not really, takes less than 5 min.

This game is so pretty. The sunset was very nice. I've always been impressed with the lighting in FS. Sheep will be interesting to see. I haven't ever seen any, the only two FS playthroughs I watched were your 2nd Survival Challange and Vintage Survival so far. You can do baking with the crops, can you spin wool and make yarn with the sheep than?

Bread can be made with eggs. I make it all the time. It has a slightly different taste, but a softer and chewier texture. Water, yeast, sugar, salt, eggs, oil/margarine (a fat), and flour. Leaving the eggs out does not change the flavor much, but it does tear more easily.

The game looks amazing, pre-ordered it months ago and already pre-ordered the year season pass too, but was I only one yelling why are you doing a 500 quid cultivating contract when there is a 15 grand fertilising contract there, even if you spend 5 grand on borrowing the equipment and the fertiliser you will still make 10 grand, but still a great vid

You really should play with audio on for yourself. They've improved it SO MUCH. Like you can hear the dump beds of the trailers flexing and popping when you dump. The game is now full of the little things like that.

Hi Dag, really enjoying the series as usual. You never seem to be in a rush, always just relaxed and getting on with work. I am always rushing around trying to make money and get bigger machines. But, I live in Texas, so I guess that kinda makes sense lol. I have a question for you. It sounds like you use a wheel when driving. How do you navigate when on foot? I have a wheel, but if I want or need to walk, I have to have my controller hooked up also or use my keyboard. I was just wondering how you do it. Thank you and keep up the awesome work.

Thanks for doing these these previews Daggerwin, the game looks pretty good so far. However, I like previous versions better for trains in that the farmer loads and unloads it manually.

I don't think a vinyard that small will be cost effective. So far I have not seen any way to hand harvest grapes and all the machines are super expensive even to rent. Being able to sell goods by train in another city is so cool! I'm sad the honey productions is so much less than the beekeeping mod from FS19. That mod simulated what it is actually like to keep real bees. This is just a peaceable that produces a free item over time. I hope the modders fix this and many other "production" systems in the game. How cool was that bread baking mod from the last series!

i do wonder why giants removed the manure from the greenhouses than just replace it with liguid fertilizer or the granular fertilizer and i do think if giants put liguid fertilizer to the greenhouses we should put on a backpack sprayer and a small shovel to get rid of weeds or we couldbuy herbicide for the weeds if it is overgrown and with the granular fertilizer we have a small pouch on our hip and we softly and slowly toss the granular fertilizer on the dirt of the plants and we should also use the backpack sprayer to water our plants in the greenhouse

31:03 I'm guessing that pallet of honey is full with 8 crates on. If you look at your first look video you were transporting a pallet with only 1 layer of crates, but when you strapped it the strap went over the pallet as if it was 2 layers.

Congrats on having the first FS22 playthrough going. You've certainly set the gold standard which will be tough to beat. Keep it up! A few questions: 1. Manual Transmission - you've seemed to master this, as you're shifting was fairly flawless. Have you noticed any fuel efficiency differences between running a high vs low rpm? Perhaps a test in neutral gear or maybe you can see fuel use in detail in the console. Hopefully there can be a reward for using proper gears and keeping the rpm as low as necessary. 2. Field Info - are you purposely keeping field info disabled? I thought I recalled being able to see that in the bottom right. 3. Resource Decay - Do you know if straw/hay will degrade from rain, ala Seasons19? I doubt it, but thought I would ask. I recall you leaving a little bit of straw on the field while bailing, and then a rain came. I also assume stock FS22 will allow you to do ANYTHING in the rain, unlike Seasons19. It would be interesting to see all tiny differences between FS22 Seasons and Seasons19, including animals. Maybe Giants has plans to further improve Seasons in FS22, or perhaps they didn't put Realism Modding out of business and gave them some opportunities. 4. Stone Picking - unlike weeds, there does not seem to be a minimap or datapad viewer of where you have run or not run the stone picker. As you proved that you do indeed need to stonepick the entire field, just wondering if you have noticed any graphical means to help with that? I don't recall the texture changing on the field where stones have been picked or not. Seems like something forgot by Giants or a feature/mod need is there. Cheers!

You using the big bag holder made me super nervous! There is a huge bug right now that forces you to quit the game. If you save the game with the bug you need to delete the big bag through vehicle.xml.
