After listening to what you said around the 17:00 mark I have went back to a previous episode and can definatively say there is a significant reduction in pixelation in this episode when compared to an episode from about a month ago, mainly noticable when the screen is spinning or when there is a sinificant amount of movement on screen. We appreciate your dedication to giving us great quality videos Daggerwin! That being said, I think I speak for the vast majority of us here when I say that although we are extremely greatful for your dedication to increasing the quality of your videos for us, if this specific change causes a significant increase in headache and upload time on your end, it is by no means a necessity and we will continue loving and watching the videos with the old bitrate. I cant ever recall thinking prior to this change "Man, this is pixelated! I wish the bitrate was higher." But hey, thats just one mans opinion, maybe others have differing ones.

I did the same tests as SoulFate and would have to agree. The quality looks much better. It is hard to detect unless you directly compare side by side and then it really jumps out.

the BGA is definitely the way to go with the Silage. If you don't want to use conveyors, and don't want to faff about with a wheel loader all the time, the lizard forage pickup is quite good. It's on the modhub under Misc-belt systems. It'll work to pick up grass/hay and chaff as well so you can also use it in lieu of a forage wagon with a regular trailer and save the investment in one of those.
@AnnaMaria-zm8cv16 сағат бұрын
Biogas plant is worth it, you also get money for the electricity and methane gas thats produced. I think you can also make silage there without owning it, but not sure, I never figured the option to make silage on the spot. I used the pits to store bales, on FS22 there were way more contracts that gave straw than in FS25.
@AnnaMaria-zm8cv16 сағат бұрын
I checked on my game save and earn between 44000 and 130000 per month with not even that much input. One load of 24 bales of silage 3500l and maybe 12000l of slurry per month.
@snippidippi11 сағат бұрын
Do I sell silage to biomass plant or do I rent it and then dump silage into the plant?
@AnnaMaria-zm8cv11 сағат бұрын
@@snippidippi I dont think selling it gives you the benefit of methane and electricity charge and the digestate you would get. Might be wrong on this, but imo renting it is far better and if you have the money AND all the resources to keep it going, buying might even be more. I saw someone making a calculation that one large bale of silage could earn you 25000 as the best outcome. My 44000-120000 a month is just the money from gas and electricity. Not the digestate as I didnt sell that yet.
@AnnaMaria-zm8cv11 сағат бұрын
@@snippidippi you can just store silage bales in the pits and rent it for 1 or 2 months a year and throw all you have in or for as long as needed to process it and stop renting when all is done and sold. It doesnt take extremely long and you really dont need exhorbitant amounts of resources to make some nice money. Slurry is basicly free and does really well too.

The Merlo has yet another trick up its sleeve. If you get stuck along the wall in the silage pit, you can activate crab steering and simply drive away from the wall.
@stupidmonkey34111 сағат бұрын
my understanding is that the roller is really only to help speed up the crushing in the bunkers, you need a leveler to make the grass/chaff level in the bunker
@marumaru608414 сағат бұрын
I actually like the changing vehicle system. Also the leveler works better for me.
@teigen1313 сағат бұрын
1. When empty trailers/wagons, if you move little bit forward, then move back. then you get wider spread than just a single thin line rushing only forward, and it will help you not need to struggle to drive over it multiple times. 2. Compacting roller are just to help making compacting going faster, not to spread/level hay around. Use a leveler or a bucket for that. 3. Please use more trucks, because using same tractor doing everything, makes it little boring. (not meaning in this video, but see alot of times in other videos where truck and trailer could been more usefull)

There are some fantastic silage bunkers on the modhub, I'm a particular fan of "Bunker Silo Set Modular" and "Siloplate" - might be worth calling a mulligan and replacing the small bunker with one of these!
@Torkkar17 сағат бұрын
so there is a mod you should look at daggerwin the Modular Bunkersilo Set its in the packages section of FS25 in game mod browser and, it allows you to piece together custom dimension bunkers, I use it to make a 4 stall Backed bunker silo each with 500,000L capacity and I store & Ferment silage, Hay, & Straw, so i can use a self-propelled Feed Mixer and fill my fourth bunker stall with TMR Awaiting Baling with my stationary baler for fast and easy feeding its no problem for me to gather 500,000L of TMR with just this mod and bale storage.

Confirming the video quality on this one does look better and more crisp all around :) also re: the bunker silo size, just because you fit everything into this one I'd argue that you spent more time chaffing about (see what I did there) trying to get it all into this one; I don't know that it's really the more cost-effective or efficient choice. Though it is a change of pace to see you driving up the grassy mountain instead of the temples' mountain, I suppose XD

hey daggerwin, we werent complaining about the videos as our internet could bearly keep up ha. would have been handy if still had the jcb for the silage pit. i think for your set up bales would be easier and handier as 1 load is equal to 4 and a half bales. but its nice to see you doing pit silage for a change

You could argue that renting productions makes the game harder. It's basically the same as getting a loan just you don't get to own it at the end of the day
@cipri606613 сағат бұрын
it makes it easier, giving you the bonus for the finished products when selling. instead of selling wheat until 300k to buy the mill, you rent it for a fraction, anf profit from the flour to get more land/better tools way faster
@Falney13 сағат бұрын
@cipri6066 except he could get a loan instead of renting it, get the same bonuses and not lose the money spent renting it. He is losing money by renting, instead of making money buying it with a loan. Thus making it harder.

I have to admit I was one of the people disliking the production leasing quite a lot in the beginning, mainly because I thought it was one of the coolest things in the haut-beyleron series how you progressively managed to buy more and more productions whereas here it is just "oh I need production X, lets get it for (virtually) free". Now I dont mind it at all anymore, after all productions are not the main part of FS25 the way they were in FS22 :)
@DancerOfClouds2 күн бұрын
Have you ever thought of buying a Fermenting silo and just filling it with Grass Bales. They were quite popular once. I like the renting production idea, as the cheap purchasable ones are too small and way to slow.

I've noticed in my own game that bales don't stay stacked well, eventually the physics just plays havoc with them. Same goes for pallets of anything, like for instance my woodchip wall (tm), as I like to call it, suddenly exploded outward without my even being there.
@AnnaMaria-zm8cv16 сағат бұрын
Happens to me too, I figure it is usualy caused by one bale or pallet challenging the collisionboundary with a neighbouring pallet/bale. Stacking them with a liiiittle space between usualy works better.

Using silage isn’t the best option for the biogas. My average in easy difficulty at 250,000 ltr of silage only makes about 15k-20k more when the biogas is fully done selling everything. Manure is the best when put through the biogas plant.
