Wish I could like (almost wrote luke... talk about a Freudian slip) this a thousand times! Fan of the Original Trilogy here. Thanks for adding Luke in there (his sleeveless shirt scenes were always my favorite; 3 guesses why! ;) ) And Artoo’s little whine there always seemed so human to me. Gotta love the adorable beeping trash can! Artoo looks like he’s fiddling with the X-wing; is he firing up the converters? This ambient reminds me of my fandom days before Disney f***ed it all up. I was 19 when I became the huge fan I was. (Now 35, the OT is still 3 of my fave movies, but I’m not obsessed with it like I used to be) Always had a huge crush on Luke (I don’t mind what happened to Mark’s face; still a hottie, if anything the surgery made him look more rugged and doable. ;) ) and I’d frequently have some very pleasant dreams about him (making out, not making love; get your mind out of the gutter!) The dreams are gone along with most of my Star Wars memorabilia because I had to sell the memorabilia at a moving sale before we moved to where we are now. There were things I kept, like a Yoda backpack that I turned into a stuffed version by modifying his toes (had four toes and all his limbs were tridactyl if I remember correctly) and cut the backpack straps off, stuffed the zipped pouch with Polyfil, and made his blissl flute out of polymer clay and then glued beads to it and painted it, strung it around his neck. Looked and looks awesome. No one bought the novelizations. But they bought all the action figures, and the comics. Sold my LOTR Sting and Anduril swords too. But kept Eowyn’s sword to remind me that though Eowyn was pretty in her beautiful dresses, she could still kick butt and was as strong as any man, and she fulfilled a prophecy that no man could kill the Witch King of Angmar. Back to SW. I think I hear a bit of the Binary Sunset theme in there, (Gotta love John Williams!) and Leia’s theme. I also hear something that sounds like Samuel Barber’s ‘Adagio for Strings’ and/or the Moody Blues’ ‘Tuesday Afternoon’. Lol. Anyway, great work. I’ve faved and saved it! :)
