Sounds fantastic, but you installed your x pipe upside down. that's why it hangs so low. 3 inch fits with no issues up and tight.

@@mikehogan5087late reply, but I’m so you figured it out by now. Yes, it adds some, but depending how much power gains you’re going for, it will only give you so much if you’re mostly stock, for example. In the video, he’s got a cam at least, which means upgraded valve springs and maybe some other engine head parts or head work. Aside from that, FBO and tune, on top of an E85 or ethanol blend tune, will probably give you at least ~40-65 WHP altogether, depending on various factors.. Forced induction (turbo, supercharger) will give you the most gains with cat deletes, and also a 3” catback, along with 2” headers (long tubes). Since FI needs less and less back pressure and resistance, for the maximum power numbers, cat deletes would be the best choice there. For a daily driver, unless it’s a serious NA build making more than 40-45+ WHP from stock, I wouldn’t really bother going fully catless. If anything, you can at least go with shorty headers and get high flow cats for the stock downpipes; or you can find stock downpipe style DP’s with 3” piping and single high flow cats.

@isnowyazn well..back then when I asked I had a 2014v6 camaro high Miles stock..leaking oil slowly..bought it from a dealer at 154k miles..now I been driving around a 2010 ss and I put 10k Into the sexy white and black ss at 114k miles went from low 4s to mid 5s in crank hp..stage 3 btr cam etc amd I still have stock gearing with a 3200 stall convereter..not sure if I wanna keep it n/a and get 3.73 gears and get a 3800 stall converter..maybe a gpi rod mod as well WITH forged 17 Inch forged rims in the back with 18 Inch forged rims on the front woth way better tires.i have stock looking tires..and also coil overs with airlift suspension and carbon fiber exterior everywhere..or..keep my heavy 20inch rims and just upgrade tires and brakes and grt regular coil overs and a great p1 procharger..not sure what I want..the n/a route is cheaper and longer lasting but I drive only 650 to 700 or so miles per month mainly hwy miles or half at least..l99 btw..and mods were done at 114k miles and they complimented the shape of my engine and transmission ..most of the cars life it had cylinder deactivation shut off..even the stock lifters were in good shape!! The 24 year old i bought the car from really babied the car man..I look better than almost every camaro and I haven't even pimped her out yet with carbon fiber lol she's white and black ;)

Is there enogh space to put dual mode mufler? I mean like straight pipe and mufler in 1 piece operated by a butterfly vavles. Because it's way to loud to a regular cruising in the city.

In my opinion, the H-pipe doesn’t sound nearly as remotely good as an X-pipe, especially for this engine setup. I’m sure you can find a bunch of straight piped stock exhaust setups on here; some of those have retained the factory h-pipe.

They do but it has mufflers. It would be a direct fit for your car. This system is only for a Z28. You’ll be doing the same thing I just did to use this system on an SS.

Is full 3” louder than 2.5 or 2.75? I have a 6th gen full 3 inch but my “muffler delete” rear piping is 2.5, would changing it to match the 3 inch be louder? I want a deeper and louder idle along with louder wot lol

Honestly it does change the tone. The X pipe is going to give you that sound you want.

Knowing how loud mine is with just long tubes and no cats and no mufflers I can only imagine what it sounds like with cams added in lmao. It'll scream tho. My buddy tells me he can hear me going over the bride all the way and it's about a 2 mile long bridge lmao.

Dude it’s a huge difference.. this car is insane now. It’s a blast to drive and the drone is about the same as before. I do know that Engine Masters proved a 3” vs a 2.5” exhaust can actually add about 12-15 hp.
