The audio quality of this clip is one of the best I've seen and heard so far. I have been on the fence with a couple different brands and models. I think I will be going with dual Venom 250 3" and an x-pipe in my LS-swapped IROC-Z. I have long tubes and high flow cats. Really looking for a raspy note and the NeighborHaters seems to lack some of the crispness I've seen in the Venom 250. Nicely done video that helped me make a final decision. Thanks!

These definitely have a better tone than 6inch the Carven R muffler but I think the SLP Loudmouth 1 or the Spintech 9000 mufflers could rival the Neighborhaters.

I just got my car back yesterday from the exh shop compared to the Flowmaster super 44 mufflers these black widows sound insane . I have long tubes cold air intake high flow cats and res delete and it screams under idle now. I will only do these mufflers on all my v8 cars and trucks. Now I know why they are called neubour hatres lol

After watching this video I just ordered these for my 2011 ss . I had Flowmaster 44 installed with long tubes and cat delete and it was still to quite. These sound just bad Ass

Can these be used as mid resonators? I wanted to get rid of drone and I don't think the vibrants will do much for me.

Yes, it would do the same anywhere, really. As it’s not exactly a fully straight-through muffler/resonator, that’s what would make it do a certain bit more than a shorter, narrower “standard” (perforated fiberglass packed core) resonator. Glasspacks would help more in that case, if you wanted a cheaper alternative, since they have “louvered” perforations, which are still somewhat straight-through, but “catch” the exhaust flow a lot more. It all comes down to how wide the overall width of the muffler or resonator you’re using is; and the design/quality of the baffling, chambering, and fiberglass packing (if any). I used to think that Flowmaster styled mufflers (metal baffled, chambered design, without any fiberglass or flow tubing) kept a medium of sound and flow, but I’ve come to think that they do generate a fair amount of drone, due to the lack of fiberglass packing. This might be taken into consideration, when running something, like a setup with upgraded headers or a cat delete of some kind.

nice i just bought some black widow angry house wifes for my 5.7 charger but i’m completely catless with longtubes and a x pipe. all 3” I just hope it’s got a nice tone. I know someone on IG who had a catless 5.7 with neighborhaters longtubes etc. sounded ok in some i videos but others sounded really raspy. i don’t know if it was the set up or his camera couldn’t capture the true sound. I’m nervous and excited at the same time. I just hope i didn’t need to go with a venom 😂😂 i couldn’t pass up the $99 price. Your camaro sounds great.

@@rite-waydetailing1172 i have a mild cam as well? how’s the drone with the mufflers. i keep hearing mix things some say they have none some say they do. that’s one of the main reasons i bought them. i have borla pro xs now and my charger is the quietest it’s ever been interior wise but i don’t like how quiet it is on the outside. they say the angry house wifes are a notch quieter than the neighborhaters but not by much.

We just removed the small secondary cats which are useless and unmonitored, and it’s just 3 inch piping all the way out to the black widow neighbor haters with the tips

At the time of this video, did the car have headers? Because I have a 2010 SS with the neighbors haters, but it's not loud enough, and I want to delete the secondary cats as well. I love the way it sounds

The factory cats in my opinion play a large part in keeping these cars quiet. Best thing you could do for your car would be longtube headers and high flow cats. That will definitely solve the quiet problem. However if that's too much money right now I'd take an educated guess and say getting rid of the secondary cats will help with sound levels.

I have a 2010 SS and was interested in doing the same to mine. Did removing the secondary cats throw any codes? That's the only thing that's stopped me from doing it. Yours sounds amazing!

Thank you I appreciate it👍, and no zero codes primary cats are still there they have an o2 sensor before and after but the secondary cats on my V and the Camaro were unmonitored no sensors near them so we removed them and my stainless works kit on the V did away with them as well we had both of them smogged with no issues so I say remove them👍 this Camaro was straight piped when we bought it but doing the secondary cat delete and doing the piping correctly with the neighbor haters and the size tips we went with really make the car sound crisp and wicked and a better torque feel at the bottom end
