In the comments of the last video he explained that it's because its hard to get chief to yell or raise his voice and still sound like chief. So he's become the voice of reason in the group for practical reasons, but I think it suits him perfectly. If you think about it, the reason the ai has trouble with it is because yelling is so uncharacteristic of master chief, so there's very little material to train on.
