I loved this boss so much. I played it on Novice so it was very much easier and faster of a run then this. This gave me anxiety to even watch, you had such low health near the end. That end section where you have to avoid stuff by the pixel is one of the most tense feelings a game has ever made me felt. Great video!

When I did Impossible mode and BEX for the first time, I feel like BEX was actually a lot harder (this was before the content before the dlc). I think that Impossible is harder to dodge things but everything hits a lot less harder and you have twice as much healing items. Maybe I'll try it out and see what its like for the dlc, I think the fairies on Impossible would actually be the toughest of the dlc bosses. But yeah there's always going to be someone who does the craziest clears, I saw some japanese streamer do True Boss Rush on BEX without getting hit once, pretty freaking nuts!

Ok. So. I'm still in my first play through of this on hard mode. And JUST reached irisu after resetting 100 times bc I want that no spike trophy. Died in 10 seconds. Went to chill and look up rabi ribi stuff and stumbled on this monstrosity. My jaw dropped during that last endurance bit. How long did you practice?! Can... You even do this on ps4?! Low-key really want to fight this and also really never want to see this. Obligatory edit: beat irisu a while ago, finished this fight around 2 weeks ago, and just finished true boss rush! Extremely glad this dlc was on ps4 because doing this fight without consumables/buffs was the most fun and most exhilarating fight I've ever had! 3 straight days of work paid off! (and made me a lot better at the game lol, but I'm slacking off doing hell mode and bex because restarting sounds so taxing)

@@DoodlesD Theyre all after the main game, all optional and all especially hard if you perform an action at the right time at the beginning of the boss to trigger a 4th difficulty (Extreme+). At the start of these fights the room is split in two with a line and the difficulty of the fight is triggered depending on where you are standing or what you do when it finishes counting down. Left side = Normal, Right Side = Hard, Using a Coacoa Bomb = Extreme, and Being on the Right Side and using a Cocoa Bomb JUST as it reaches 0 triggers both Hard + Extreme for Extreme+. You can check out my 'Another Layer of Nightmare' video for an example of what to expect... And yes... There's an achievement in the game for it (the only one for all these fights).

@@Valkoria coming back after clearing all this stuff myself (difficult but doable! took me like a day just to learn how to dodge the needles perfectly) I'm guessing that the left side right side thing is on steam version only? since I know the BNA dlc isn't out here yet maybe it came there? Idk At least when I did these on ps4 I only had "I'd like this incredibly intense" options and no sides to choose from

Nope. Not gonna happen. I'm having a hell of a time with the dang Library girl and her one hit kill even when you don't have the Insta-Death debuff. Nope. Screw this game. It doesn't help that I'm so focused on beating it I can't even tell what the heck is going on with the story. It's a mess. Is Noah also past Erina? Why do they have the same name? Why did they bother confusing us like that? But I can't decipher the plot right now. I have to "kill" a damn shy girl in the library because "something happened". That whole scene confused me. Bullet hell games. AKA Masochism, the video game First I hear there's 6 chapters, then 7, 8, is there a 9? Is this 10? How many versions of "final boss" has this game gone through in its updates? And then the game tries to load all the DLC that I don't have every time I start the thing. This is what it feels like to miss out on stuff.

There's the post-game with Miriam, Rumi and Irisu as bosses and then there's the post-post game with Noah aka the original Erina as the true final boss but you can only fight Noah when you buy the DLC I think

Noah was originally the guardian of the island, protecting the island from intruders from the outside world (our world). Somehow the barrier around the island got destroyed and could only be fixed form the outside (I'm assuming Miru broke out somehow), so she left forever to go fix it and erased people's memories of her so they don't try to go outside to find her (and inadvertently break the barrier again). At some point she got homesick and wanted to come back, but she couldn't the usual way. She turned a random rabbit from the regular world into a human that resembled her previous self (which is now our MC, Erina) and was planning on taking over her body, but she needed time to gather enough magic to transfer herself into the rabbit's body, so she teleported Erina into the island to create new memories with the villagers in the meantime. Her method to go back was basically having all the island villagers teleport the newly-transformed rabbit girl with the stele outside of the island, possess her while she was still outside the island, then get teleported back into it with the power of the stele (which was like a rubber band). Sadly Erina ended up accidentally ruining Noah's plans by taking Ribbon with her wherever she went, as Ribbon stopped Noah from being able to trick Erina. That's basically it.
