Welcome to Hossain Chef! Today, we’re making a delicious and flavorful Dahi Tadka - a creamy, spiced yogurt curry that’s perfect for a quick and easy meal. This dish is a unique twist on traditional Indian cuisine, combining the tangy taste of yogurt with the rich flavors of tempered spices.
Ingredients:-
Yogurt (Dahi)
Gram flour (Besan)
Turmeric powder (Haldi)
Red chili powder (Lal Mirch)
Cumin seeds (Jeera)
Mustard seeds (Rai)
Curry leaves (Kadi Patta)
Garlic (Lahsun)
Green chilies (Hari Mirch)
Fresh coriander (Dhania) for garnish
Salt to taste
Oil
Instructions:-
In a bowl, whisk the yogurt with gram flour, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt.
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and allow them to crackle.
Add finely chopped garlic and green chilies, sauté until golden brown.
Pour the spiced yogurt mixture into the pan, stirring continuously to avoid curdling.
Cook on a low flame until the curry thickens and releases a lovely aroma.
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with steamed rice or chapati.
