Do you grow Dalias? If you do, then it's a no brainer you should be harvesting your dahlia tubers after the first frost! One of the best parts about dahlias is they grow from tubers, and tubers can be saved for the following year. You can keep the tubers together for huge plants next year or break them apart in the Spring for multiple plants. From 1 dahlia plant, it's common to be able to get several plants the following year from the same tuber bundle. They are the gift that keeps on giving! However, Dahlia tubers do need some special care and storage to insure they survive and stay healthy over the winter. There are many methods out there, so have some fun!
