Cline made her Carnegie Hall debut with The Opry on November 29, 1961 and was quite a sensation with the audience, so much so that she had several standing ovations. I am a better person knowing this song was sung. I love Alison and this is my favorite Patsy Cline song. I love both versions the same. Patsy's voice fits the song. However. I love Patsy, and I love Alison Kraus, this an amazing song, but it’s NOT a country song, it’s a du wap song. I like Allison’s pure rendition, but I’ve argued with lots of people that this was the cross over song for patsy, that led to sweet dreams.
