@@carolyndeyo5019 i agree he sings from all of hearts . His music is realistic, experiential from his heart . I feel certain saying that the message of each song speaks directly to the heart of at least one other person that hears it. I stopped counting g at 30 something songs conveying a message where I had experienced very similar situation. Some of his songs I would swear he was watching me from afar, as the details were spot on. It wasn’t until I attended my first AJ concert that I realized he sings from the heart of human beings, irregardless of their cultural beliefs and affiliations. I love you Alan Jackson. Aside from my now deceased friend Lynn Duncan, wife of retired Congressman Jimmy Duncan, Jr. we actually became friends while standing next to one another, in line, waiting for doors to open at Toys-R-US on Black Friday in 2008. They were piping country music from local 107.7 WIVK The Frog Station to entertain those of us standing in line since 4am to get a chance to grab one of the 11 “Special” Karaoke Machines that featured a Taylor Swift hit, for Christmas. When they played “Remember When”, she and I were singing and crying at same time. We attended 2 AJ concerts during our 12 1/2v year friendship. We lost her to cancer in 2021. The years we shared were the best of my lifetime and Alan Jackson was with, on some level, all the way. We especially loved (and I still do) Alan’s Christmas music. “Let it be Christmas-Everywhere” was another tear jerker for us, but also our favorite. I also love his “Oh Holy. Night”, Little Drummer Boy” and “Santa Claus is coming to Town”. ☮️💜 and Joy to All -Especially since we are beginning the holiday season with Thanksgiving on Thursday. 🎄⭐️🕎✡️ and much respect for those religions not represented by an emoji, most of all I wish everyone Peace that passeth all understanding, in the name of Unity for our communities, cities, states, nations promoting Peace on Earth and good will to all living beings and things. ❤️

That music they call " new country" that omits Steel guitars, banjos & Violins is AN EXCUSE FOR COUNTRY MUSIC! I detest it!!!! The ONLY REASON "they" would have done that is M-O-N-E-Y!!! What a crying Shame!!!!!! I have a word for "them" but I'm too much of a lady to say it!!!!

My wife and i have been married 44 years. we met in 1977 through my sister. We were on the brink of separation when this song came out. I can honestly say i sat and cried listening to it. I had so much to apologize for and I did. To this day 21 years later our love has grown tremendously. I thank you Alan Jackson for this release and your other songs like Living on Love, The Older I Get. You are the best. I thank my Lord Jesus for life and pray for your healing.

Every couple comes to a time - usually more than once - where it would be easy to say, "forget it" and bail on the marriage. But understanding that the marriage is more important than the issues, brings you to a place where the relationship not only doesn't fail, but it transcends to a different level. Yes, pre-high school sweetheart (she was 12, I was 13 when we first became a couple) and 3 daughters. 42 years. She is my only and I am her only (and I wouldn't have it any other way).

This song now makes me think about my previous daddy and mother. My daddy has dementia and can no longer “Remember When” . I scanned photos from their first date in 1959 to present. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last December. We played the slide show while they danced the first dance. My daddy didn’t know where he was but somehow the photos moved him and he talked about it for nearly a week. Music is so powerful. Thank you Alan Jackson for writing this song and recording it for us to include in celebrating my parents life together. Did I mention. Momma was 16 and daddy was 19 when they married.

I said change your station I said, and my friends from Fort St. John that grew up there said that’s all we got man so you better get used to it and boy did I ever say I think that country and western is the lifeblood of of of every human being as far as music is concerned, and you’ve contributed to that in such a great way and I tilt my hat to you and may God fill you with his spirit. Jake I love all types of music. And its a toss up on witch I love more, county or jazz and the blues. There's one thing I am sure of and it was taught to me at a early age. There is always lesson of life in music to be learn. We just need to take the time to listen and learn those lesson. Learn these lesson and stop the hate of one another because of there belief their political thought and damit the color of their skin. My god , my creator made one mistake when in made man. because of the beauty of ever thing else he gave man different color also, and then here come the devil. And back to music Paul Revere and the Raiders have a song Indian Nation and it talks about Cherokee nation will return. We need to think about that
