When I was 7, my Twin died. When I was 11, I was diving off a high rock alone and hit my head on the reef below. I felt something grab me and pull me to shore. When I looked up at who saved me. It was my 7 year old twin brother who looked like how i remember him. He then said I be OK and literally just disappeared hovering over me ! Can wait to see him and thank him in Heaven. I still cry today, remembering my NDE.

I was cleaning in the rental office waiting room. the TV was on. Large screen TV I stopped the vacuum when I saw smoke coming from the tower. I turned up the sound. My heart sunk. I walked to the office and said come and see this, it's important. I was listening to the astonishment the grief in the newsmen's words. I watched as the second plane hit. I watched during my lunch break and started to cry as the towers began to collapse. I will never forget. I excused myself to make an important call to find out where a pilot I knew was that day. They answered he is fine. That was a huge relief. But I was still in shock for the audacity of it, the loss of life, the scale of the attack. I will never forget how I felt that day. Here in the city where I went to school the staff of a Lutheran church next door to a Mosque stood around it to protect it from hate crimes because news was saying that terrorists from the Middle East had attacked the towers. It was just hearsay. Christians stood around the Mosque to protect the peaceful Muslims inside. This is America. We take care of each other. People who have faith should live it. They did. They still do. A van full of a restaurant baseball team was coming back from a game on the east coast when they heard the news on the radio. They turned around and drove to ground zero as fast they could to provide food for the survivors and first responders. I was so proud to work for them. Those are my 9/11 stories. Thanks for asking. One of the things I love about country music, its the I love my country theme, the songs that are national anthems. This is one of the best.

I was six years old, living in Wisconsin, and my younger brothers and I were watching Dragon Tales. My mom was sick of cartoons and wanted to watch the morning news. As she changed the channel, the second plane hit. She called my dad at work and told him. He drove home immediately and spent the day with us. I was scared stiff... When my dad got home, I asked him what would happen now. He said to me "Boy were going to war." I enlisted in 2013 and again in 2017. This nation has never belonged to the Lord God, only those of us who know and trust Him for forgiveness of our sins. But when you get down to it, the entire world and the entire universe belongs to Him alone, and one day He will destroy this world and replace it with the perfection that He first created it to be, and I look forward to that day.

My kids were in school. I knew they were okay. The news came on my TV. I stood in front of that television for at least an hour. I was sad, mad, shocked and for someone in their 30s some innocence was stolen from me that day. My kids got home from school and I hugged them and we talked. Everyone remembers where they were when they found out. I think the whole world cried. 😢

Maybe the saddest day of my life, i got off work early to pick up my 10 yr old daughter from school as my was an nurse and i thought it was important that she stayed to help out, we lived in Pennsylvania, not far from the crash site. My daughter was crying , hell i was crying. Why? Im not sure. But once my wife got home, calmed us down. It got a little better. I Was mad. Hell im still mad. And im mad at the people that weren't and aren't mad. We were attacked and then we took shit from people when we retaliated. We didnt do enough, and it shows today. As my hero said , more than once, "From My Cold Dead Hands" you're gone Charlton but not forgotten. I hate anyone that doesnt respect the Flag or the U.S.A..

I don't think I'll ever forget that I was at work the day of this senseless & tragic day 😢Watching that 1st plane hit the 1st Twin Tower just seemed, surreal to me. I was in complete shock at 1st, then Watching the news coverage of all it, it just hit me & I could not stop the tears from flowing 😢 It was all just so horrific to watch as the rest of 9/11 unfolded. One of the things I saw happen on TV that day, that, for one reason or another, that haunts me still, almost 23 years later, was watching some of the victims jumping from extreme heights, to their deaths....God Bless to everybody, whether here or watching over us, who perished "When the World Stopped Turning" 🇺🇲🫡💔🙏 Alan, Thank You for writing such a beautiful song 🙏

I remember I was at work ( bread delivery ) went back out into my truck turned on the radio and I didn't hear the beggining. The radio station I listened to did scits every so often and I was hearing what happened and at first thought it was one of their radio productions only to realise it was actually a news broadcast. The rest of my day I was just angry. I got home determined not to show that anger to my family, shortly my kids got home from school ( high school ) they were playing the news in all the class rooms, the look of fear and sadness on their faces made me even angrier and I just held them. I will never forget that day nor the pain it caused so many.

20yrs later and this song still has the same impact and has me in tears. I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing. I'm Canadian and I remember going to work that day and everyone was like zombies in shock and disbelief at what happened to our neighbours that day. Another thing that hit us was the stories of people we knew from work that missed their flights the day before that would've been in the towers when it happened if they hadn't missed their flights. I will never forget the evil that attacked and murdered those in the buildings, surrounding areas and planes.

Oh how I remember. I was 42 years old. I had just got in the bed about 6:30 am. I was working at FedEx. About 9 o'clock am, my brother called me to ask me could I be at the hospital when our mother goes into surgery. He was a deputy chief for the Memphis police department. He had to be at a important meeting that morning. I told him yes I would. Then he went on to say to me, " I can't believe you are sleeping when your country is being attacked." I hung up, turned the TV and there it was. I pulled out a VCR tape and started recording it. I wanted to catch it in Real Time. I still have it to this day. I tip my hat off to all the one's who lost there lives fighting to save others. God be with you. R.I.P. 9/11/24
