My cousin is a developer of this project. He is still in High School and I believe many of the other devs of this project are as well. As it stands this OS is unfinished, yes. However, he's been working on this since he was like 13. Taking this into account, this is freaking impressive as hell that a group of young and intelligent developers can make a functional lightweight OS.

@curious.lad.3692 жыл бұрын
@Watcher yes it seems to me like flutter is great option for desktop apps. It is amazing this really could push for more apps come to linux, because a lot of developers use it to build mobile apps and with little effort they can bring their apps to desktop as well. I would take this over chromeOS any day.

Definitely has a ChromeOS + Windows 11 + KDE Plasma + System76 Rust-based Cosmic DE look/feel to it. I like it quite a bit more than I thought I would. It'll be interesting to see KDE themes/customization that will be coming out now that this is getting traction.

It's also has some Android feel. For example Settings submenu icons, circle Settings option icons like in Android 11, QS tiles like Android 12, Search Settings bar is above the Settings page like Android UI's on tablets. Just a few things I noticed.

Seems like a pre-alpha build. What’s working looks very nice, but it’s far, far from ready to deploy on a production environment. It’s great to see new DEs come out. Sure, GNOME, Cinnamon,KDE XFCE are all great and all, but it’s nice to see something fresh.
