hi. i have a XVR5116H-4KL but the usb adapters TP-Link TL-WN823N 300Mbps and a Archer_T3U AC1300 wont work for the wifi connection. i have tried getting the XVR to factory default many times already and moved various settings but still doesnt work. do i need to buy a "compatible" usb adapter or am i missing something on settings to enable the wifi?

@@noursmilemix1992 nah tried usb adapters, other wifi connectors (bridges), lan, it just doesnt work, basicly gave up on that, bought another 2tb hardrive to add more recording time

I didnt buy these USB solution, some older models may not work with it, the firmware might be old. Try a wifi extender with LAN ports. I think i also have one of those older XVR

I have the XVR and most of my cams are hardwired. But I have wireless cameras that I would like to add to the DVR. I tried the vonet bridge but the DVR does not want to see it. Is this dongle specific for this DVR? Hardware version is V1.0 and sys version is 4.000.0000001.4. I have wireless cams running off mesh system and XVR right into the router. XVR cannot see cameras, so I assume they need to be on the same SSID. That's why I would like this DVR to have wireless access. But it's just not working out that way.

My problem is that DVR is on first floor and my 3G device is on ground floor and it cannot be brought to first floor because then internet signals on ground floor will become very weak and internet would not work. Please tell me what device I use with this dongle to extend it's signals upto ground floor 3G device.

I have just installed a Dahua XVR 16 channel for remote viewing. Within the WiFi vicinity I connect but when outside of the WiFi signal range. With mobile data network it's impossible to connect. I have enabled the view outside WiFi range setting on the gdmss App. So far no solution. What should I do next?

You have wrong IP , open your Dahua XVR Find network go UPnP enable PAT and use WAN IP on your Gdmss App in your Address.
