Yeah, no prophetess for the majority of the game definitely cost the bretonnians, although idk why cathay sent the crowmen the way they did, definitely feels like they could've held onto the crowmen and taken more trebs offline with some patience but that is a pretty rough spot to be in so easier to say than do.

Yeah, avoid throwing the lord and you've both got better morale for the low LD Bretonnian infantry and healing for the cav.

True, that cost him the game. The grails had no healing for the rest of the game and they still almost clutched it.

In my eyes Rider of Rohan was the better player in terms of decision making and micro-management (ignoring the throw of the profetess). Cathay is a stronger faction and the build was also stronger but the *entire* army got defeated. They only technically won because of Gotreks unbreakable feature. Any other Hero would have been done at this point. Still a good game from both players!

Agreed. The 3 blessed trebs were a fantastic way to break the Cathay box, and all the skirmish cav did a great job of keeping the crowmen at bay. If the life lord wasn't thrown away so quickly, I think Rohan could've won.

I love Bretonnia, but I just don't believe in Trebuchets. I think Bretonnia needs to be the one engaging in this matchup.

Cathay felt like shit in mp if you faced a better player who could pick apart the lines. Obviously bad in dom cuz u can be ahead like 4k gold and not have time to cap points. Melee factions are the way to go if ur better than average until you get to starcraft pro level since offense becomes easier than defense past ai level. It's like terran in sc1. Almost lost to a brettonian player that threw their lord away asap.
