I'm wondering what exactly the Coast player was thinking putting all their pistols that far up where they could easily get charged and not have any support (and then willingly walked a few up into melee on top of that)

They take down tzeentch shields, and are not high value anyway.

They cost 300g and if someone had charged them the attacker would have eaten grenades from the bombers behind them. Could have been a worthwhile trade for the coast.

Being able to just shotgun blast your opponent in the face even if they are in melee with you is kinda cool on some units. VC need something strong.
