Yesterday, Ben Hodges, the former Commanding General of the U.S. Army in Europe and current Senior Advisor to the organization Human Rights First, provided valuable insights and analysis on current military conflicts and strategies during a lunchtime talk for DAI members. The lecture was titled "What about Ukraine in a changing political environment?" However, General Hodges also discussed the conflict between Hamas and Israel, Russia's situation, China's interests, and the underlying threats from Iraq and Iran, as he believed that they are all interconnected.

Mr General, we greatly value in Poland your knowledge and experience and the work you are doing for Ukraine's victory in the war with Russia. Your perspective on this conflict is very close to ours. At the same time, I would like to point out that your brief comment on the election results in Poland, which you made at a lecture in Switzerland on 31.10.2023, is completely unfounded and reproduces left-liberal clichés stigmatising the hitherto legal and democratic authorities of our country and a large patriotic part of our nation.

Thankyou. I was optimistic as well and while I understand that the West's inaction and hesitancy is not the whole story, I do think Ukraine would be in a much stronger postion than they are currently in if its allies had shown the same courage and determination that the Ukrainian people are demonstrating.

Nicely said. We've been telling the Ukrainians for what must seem like an eternity, "Hold on dears, the military aid your fearless president has requested, will be there in a while." Months later, "Hold on a bit longer, the tanks and APCs, etc. need approval." Now, 23 months later and Ukraine is still fighting for its existence. "The Ukraine hasn't stopped defending itself since 2014. We will vote come November because it is within our power as a Democracy. Let's get the military aid Ukraine needs reestablished. ♥️🇺🇦🔱💪🚜🌻🍉✊🤙
