Hashogeki is really now a game change with that added damage and just overall usability.. it definitely helping Ryu with the pokes as well as damage extending ex combos.. nice to see Ryu using his full kit now

Daigo saw the buffs I see. Daigo said he would only play Ryu if he was actually good. Thats why he stayed with Guile in SFV and Ken in SF6 since Ryu was below average in that entry.

the day this choice happened it was during a red sun set in Japan…China and all of Asia ….as little kids from 4-5 all grew another inch in height now look 9-10 years old , men was actually seen walking with lions as their pet but from a a far view you can see the clothes blowing wildly in the wind of the man man on the roof on the house that’s on the mountain of the mountain that’s on hollowed ground. Guile should have been given a little more new stuff like the rest of the cast , while I do like that they do respect his classic move set there was def still some things that could have been added I mean look at Honda ryu and Ken heck even chun li got a new stance Guile could have used one more special move maybe something that would have complimented how he can be good in the corner ? Like a push off or something that does more dmg if his back is literally against the wall lol could be a military press idk but something

The addition of ED showed that street fighter 6 is moving away from..zoning..charachters, it was like calling Daigo to ditch Guile.Thanks Capcom.

Given JP I think it's just a matter of SF6 making sure people have options of how to deal with them. Guile can rushdown just like the next shoto, just that he's encouraged to use pre-initiative through long reaching normals, timing mixups with projectiles, and charge motions. Everyone without a projectile still has projectile invincible moves, a way to rush in while being projectile invincible if you use them too predictably, etc.

@@loque69Ken wasnt just viable, he was good. Ryu has been viable for a while but he just isnt on par with characters like JP, Deejay, Luke, Chun and Ken and Cammy which is what was primarily seen in CCX. Ryu is better now, but I still dont believe that he is better than the other top tiers.

You people complained about Kens forward throw into the corner, and completely overlooked the obvious fact that Ryu has a similar throw. His still leaves him very close to the grounded character. Well done, cry babies.
