frc gunflame has its own active frames regardless of what sol is doing. while sol is blocking, gunflame moves on its own and counter hits axl while he is doing super.

if im not wrong.. the axel is UMEHARA and not Daisuke.. who the hell made it daisuke? and.. dustloop doesn't work anymore.. and its cheap and spammable.. thus they removed it.. but whatdayaknow.. replaced by sidewinder loop.. but at least there's abit more skill involved..

"Simple does not meant easier" That's the concept of how GG is much harder than BB. The major reason, and this is coming from the mouth of a few friends who dislike BB: [Note: this is about Continuum Shift, not Chrono Phantasma] BB is slower. (BBCP is speeding things up, I wonder what excuse they'll use now) Just like that, they toss the game away... T.T; I, honestly, expected their reason is the whole: "there is no one like my character" bit, especially when my friend who plays Faust. @.@;

BBCP while being the fastest Blazblue game yet and having the shortest combos, still has much longer combos than GG on average. Which may contribute to some of them seeing the game as still too slow Though yeah, there is also some may not find their character.

Ahh... Back when Sol was pretty much the only person with a loop, which meant he was the only person who could easily do about 60% damage, and thus ridiculously broken. Every time I get stuck in one of Jam, Eddie or Slayers', loops, for the odd 10 seconds where the game's flow is completely broken by cheap bullshit, I can't help but reminisce.

Dunno, Slash is the only one I ever played. If they did break all the loops in Slash they did a good job of inventing new ones for EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER in AC.

There's a little term some people have for people who accept flaws in games and pretend it's okay. It's called 'rolling over'. You say that low-tiers place in as often as high, yet I've never seen a single Johnny or Anji player actually do well in a tourney. And for a VERY long time, Shonen was pretty much unbeaten, matched only by Ogawa... Another S-Tier. True, the tiers aren't the end-all like some games, but they certainly do give a huge advantage in some cases.

Thumbs up for the good point but, Daigo was good enough to beat top players in Japan as well. Plus, placing at evo is nothing to sneaze at. I won't say that Daigo isn't a top player, but he wasn't on say...Kuroda's level. Daigo is a wizard at SFA3, ST, Darkstalkers 1,2,3 and most other games that he gets his hands on. He really does live up to his reputation.

Nah. Daigo knew completely how terrible he was and for the people interested in facts: He didn't win every match. He won every other one like a faceless person would in a Chariot. Daigo left GG and didn't try BB because there is no way he could keep up or handle it. There is so much terrible SF choices made here that he's getting away with due to the fact no one is really expecting it. That's generally what net'd him wins.

I agree that loops aren't always bad, I've said that before, even if they are rarely any fun for either the user or the receiver, especially long ones. Sol is the perfect example. Loops are ALL he ever has. Most loops are bullshit however. Slayer already has high damage, tacking on an extra 10-15% is ridiculous. And Testament being able to do 50% health without a single trap is just dumb. It would be like Order Sol having high damage without Charge.

@Schweinsedge I can understand you probably hate the fanboyism he receives for even breathing. But to claim he was less than average in gg is a bit far fetched. He was decent from what I've heard from people that have actually met him in person. Winnings for SBO are shitty. The japanese stated they like EVO more. SBO, one loss and you are done. I have a friend that went to season's beatings this past week and money matched daigo in ssf4, and believe me he wasn't the only one money matching him.

Because most loops aren't intented by the devs (some ones are obviously, eg Sol's, Millia's, Jam's) and just do way too much damage. Testament averaging 30% damage without traps and 50-60% with is RIGHT. He is BALANCED that way. There's a reason Testament is S-Tier now and it's because, thanks to his badlands loop, he just has way, way too much random hit damage. His traps make this even worse since those random hits can be from the other side of the screen.
