About the Quintessential Quintuplets figures: I didn't want any more of them, but then (I dont remember what company) announced the Date version ones or whatever they're called and theyre realllyyy nice. Very well sculpted and painted, and really nice streetwear. Otherwise I don't want any more, I don't think the wedding dress ones even look good

Pony Canyon (not cannon) is the label that the Jrock group BAND-MAID is signed to. I think they are just getting into producing their own anime and figures. BAND-MAID's latest video for their song "Unleashed!!!!" is partly in anime and animated by the Pony Canyon animators. It's pretty cool. You should check it out. With any luck, they'll produce figures of all the members. 😄

I told myself "Save your money for the V-tuber scale figures" and I've done pretty well so far, I haven't given into temptation yet... but then I saw that wholesome figure of Kanade wedding dress (Angel Beats)... man... I might just have to if the finish product looks really nice!! Shigurei Ui is a well known artist, She designed Subaru (from Hololive) who has a cute tomboy aesthetic & eventually became a well beloved V-tuber herself. She's been able to even stream with Subaru on several occasions. In the V-tuber world, it's genuinely wonderful news that Shigurei has gotten her own figure!! Especially when you consider she's independent & not apart of any agency (eg Nijisanji). When I look at some of my much older figures, the price has certainly gone up since then, but by golly figure quality has become down right amazing!!

I didnt *ask* for the Rem/Ram/Emilia set, but we don't get sets with all 3 of them very often, so I might pick them up. Actually I think the only sets that has all 3 matching of them is the Music series that was I think EStream so very expensive and not my taste, and the chinese wedding dress ones which are super not my taste.

Ones I'm interested in to some extend: The summer Abigail. I want a foreigner, I've most classes now, just missing foreigner, moon cancer and pretender(well, berserker, shielder and ruler are in transit). Of the foreigners, I like Abigail the most. And for that, I want one with lots of tentacles. Unfortunately none released thus far had any and... honestly I'm somewhat uncomfortable with the state of dress of regular Abigail at stage 3(I only realized this when someone else pointed it out... I was only ever looking at the tentacles before that), which is the stage I need for tentacles. So... this might be my best chance. Probably not gonna get a moon cancer any time soon because I hate Kiara and don't care much for Sakura. But... there might be hope for the new Arcueid. As for pretender, I'm certainly not getting an Oberon. But it seems there are new pretender on the roster, Lady Avalon looks nice. The Albedo&Shalltear pair. Overlord is pretty awesome. While I already have an Albedo, I do intend to pick up a Shalltear at some point and this is an interesting one. And finally, the Milim. This one is already up for PO and I'm debating quite a bit. It is on the expensive side but it looks so very nice.

Omg.... There's so much to look at! The figure from the artist SWAV might just be my favourite honestly, I've got the other one on pre-order (It literally just got delayed again the other day, but one day... one day we'll get it) and I'm excited to pair them up! I can't believe the Schwarz figure was a real picture 😮 The JJK eStream figures had to be the biggest disappointment here, they both looked pretty bad coloured as you said :(

I was scared when I clicked play just now as despite having gone through the list myself that crazy weekend (yup, props to Ruru_MoePop!), because your reviews can potentially make me pick up things that I missed. You are right about too many quints out there (mine are the PuP set and a prize set of them in pajamas lol - and I’m already happy with these… 10 figures). Personally I am already happy w/ my RADIO EVA preorders (incl the rereleases) of Rei and Asuka - so, I’m not too bothered w/ the new ones. My current likes for 2023 are BINDing (other than preordering Mami today to complete the Kanokari 4)… but I really have to choose wisely with them going for 39K a pop (Native store doesn’t deliver to the UK for some weird reason!). Looking forward to your next catch!

alright hold on a minute... while i agree that the Holo and Raftalia china dress figures are not spectacular, i don't agree with the 'not every character has to have a china dress' statement. While some of you collectors enjoy bunny outfits (which also have no context to the original plot or character), others may enjoy them in china dress. Are china dress and bunny outfits overdone? yes. Should companies keep making them though? probably yes.

Why can't anyone just make a normal Dragon Maid figure for literally any of them (I know Tohru and Kanna have a maid set that is normal). I know, the show leans a lot to lewd directions, but I doubt anyone wants the figures to always go in that direction. Maybe just my opinion in the end. I really just want a normal Elma figure that isn't obnoxious with the body ratio and keeps it accurate and is just keeping the lewdness at bay, but I doubt it'll happen.

So many figures are ruined for me when the boobs are ridiculously huge. Or the pose too lewd. 😭 I love a lot of bunny figures so I don't mind figures being a bit sexy. But some cross the line into pornographic. Ive seen some figures that are downright disturbing! There can never be too many Ryza figures imo. She has such a cute happy face. I love her fang too. There are so many figures of her coming out the next year or so. Miku and Ryza are my fave girls. Miku doesn't get sexualised as much as other characters fortunately!

These gacha game characters and OCs really do rule the scene, and I do love to see it. They already announced two Mio(Xenoblade 3) figures, which is kinda crazy given how recent that came out. I'm not too interested in XC3 figures honestly, most of the designs are a bit "safe" after XC2's more fun designs. I'm still waiting on Brighid from 2, but I suppose that's never happening.
