I am curious if you could put this device in on an indoor unit and use a non-adjustable temperature sensor (as seen in a lot of supermarkets etc...) to control the unit rather than one of the typical controllers that Daikin offers?

Why not just put the stat in the area being served? You can also put a remote sensor on the units already, no need for a wago. The wago would be more like if you wanted to use a sensor in a space to enable or disable something like 3rd laity gear.

Wow that was amazing, i have carefully follow your tutorials on my real project but there seems to be no communication between my wago and my ITM, is there a way to know if my link is properly working. secondly too do you have to program the wago Plc before connecting it to the ITM? Thank you

Check your +/- wire between the itm and wago. Most of the time that's connected wrong. Next double check the address rotary dial of the itm matches the port you're addressing each point to. Amd of course check the resistance end terminal. In case you didn't wire the 24vac properly that may also cause issues. Most of the time you can test enable/disable outputs to check com without having anything even hooked up. Hope that helps!!

18/2 works but it's slightly large so 20/2 would work better in my opinion. It's a rs485 connection.

Dana, am back again....i have this Wago controller 715-315/300-000 but cannot communicate with my Daikin ITM DMC601A71. With my 1st project i used Wago 715-315/300-002 and it worked prefect with my Daikin ITM DMC601A71 but unfortunately am not able to get Wago 715-315/300-002 again i have search with my local and regional distributor but couldn't get it everywhere. My question is will the Wago 715-315/300-000 work? if Yes what should i do and if No why? secondly can you assist me in getting the right Wago controller that will work with my Daikin ITM. Thirdly what are the available Wago controllers that will work with Daikin ITM DMC601A71 Thank you

I'll have to look up the wago controller part number but if you got it from your daikin rep it should work no problem. Usual issue is it's wired wrong, the rs485 is polar sensitive so plus to plus and minus to minus. Second issue is it gets addressed wrong on rotary dials. 3rd issue is it might be wired wrong on each contact or programmed wrong in the itm itself. Could be any of those potentially.
