SO GOOD!!! 90s SNL will always have a special place in my heart. Such fond memories of staying up late in middle school to watch Phil Hartman, Dana Carvey, Deep Thoughts.... Al Franken as Stuart Smalley killed it every time. Thanks for the throwback, SNL!
@babylonkid2 жыл бұрын
Same here Vicky. As a 90s kid I'd stay up and record the episode if I liked the host or musical guest. I was probably 10 or 12 watching this live and I was amused. But now I'm 40 and watching and it's f'n funny. I've watched all the Daily Affirmations skits and they all make me laugh. Late 80s to mid 90s had the best cast. Hartman, Nealon, Sandler, Farley, Spade, Carvey, Myers, Lovitz, Hooks, Jackson, Dunn, Rock, Meadows, Cleghorn, Sweeney, Miller and Schneider. Wow!

Al Franken: National Treasure. Seriously. Cancelled because he made a harmless jest which was misconstrued by people who WANTED to misconstrue it. Never did this man do harm. He only made us laugh with his brilliant wit, and then worked doggedly to improve the level of accountability and conscience in D.C. There are very, VERY few men I could name at the federal level which I would trust as much as Al Franken. We need to uncancel him NOW, and get him back in Washington. (If he would even consider such a thing.) If not that, I wish he'd at least get a show and make us laugh. We could all use it.

Ironically these things do help. There’s a lot of ways to help yourself. When I was younger and playing college football as a freshman coach always lifted us all up by saying “focused on your strengths and we will work on everything else.” I keep that attitude to this day. Good days. Bad days. I focus on what I do best, and I will keep working on the rest. It keeps me going. Edit. Hope you’re feeling good about yourself because if you’re not feeling good about yourself then it’s time to change whatever it is.
