I so didn't get this sketch when I was younger. I thought it was stupid and just a joke but now daily affirmations are standard practice in wellness programmes. Al Franken as Stuart was ahead of his time

Al Franken was a brilliant senator. Roger Stone set up the accusations, Gillibrand lit the torches, Chuck Schumer stabbed him in the back and railroaded him out. Franken wanted an open hearing to get to the bottom of the accusations. He was denied.
