Just a suggestion for mats in the footwell I bought a bathroom set of mats the shape of the pedestal cutout is very similar to the steering column so you don't have to cut it and the mat you step out of the bath onto fits in the passenger footwell plus when they need cleaning you can chuck them in the washing machine 👍

I'm a non trucker but an ex-bridge engineer. I crossed the Millau bridge not long after it was opened on a summer holiday in the south of France. Brilliant structure. My biggest bridge in the UK was the M180 bridge over the River Trent. Great video.

Thanks for the blogs, you are appreciated for your honest insights into the realities of European work. I found your channel when revising my theory and written cpc test and it’s been good to see the day to day aspects of trucking life. Thought about European but got little kids and couldn’t be away for more than 4/5 days at a time so will be a few years before I can enjoy travel if about and seeing new places. On a practical note, have you thought about buying a little drone for your roof top checks? Would also get some good shots for the blog but you should be able to write it off as a business expense for the purpose of security. Could also be useful if you’re parked up alone and suspect some shady bastards are about, you wouldn’t even need to leave the cab to inspect around the truck, trailer and surrounding area.

David the millau bridge was designed by a britash guy and built buy a british team ,I did the old road under the milau what a night mair so slow very bad but nice .its very exspensive .

So the first time ❤mum and I E V E R Went OVER THE BRIDGE my Language was choice 😂😂😂😡👎( not ). As u know u can see it for miles b4 u Cross it 🚍👎😡🤦‍♂️. When I went abroad I worked on 2 meals a day buy one cook one, I found 2 was enough as you sit around all day and between meals I ate fruit. Also in the cab I never kept anything hard in there if could in case the worst happened and it ended up flying round the cab ready to kill me.

One tool that always needs to be present David is you! 🤣😅🤣😂😁👍 Joking ofcourse! Always keep a basic tool chest on you and a set of spare bulbs, fluids, and some instant gasket, get you out of a world of shit. You want a decent breaker bar, and a length of steel pipe to lever on... I never go anywhere without my base tool set!

Before the days off good screen wash i use too go in the TOTAL services in france go in the toilets and get some off that soap off the cleaner lady and then in the caffee and get 4 saches off viniger with 5ltrs off water and fill my screen wash the vinger and soap stripped all the flyes and blood for miles . millions off flyes .

Since you got your one trailer, why not put some cheap cameras in it, so you can se the top of the load. With motion sensors optimally.

So where do the coaches go. ?. As an ex European coach driver i think you are being selfish. I understand about the immigrant situation. But can you imagine what would happen if a person got knocked down walking from a truck park to the services . All because a truck was parked where it shouldn't be. The coach bays are there for a reason. For coach drivers to safely get The passengers into the services. I'm sorry about this. I think your channel is great but my biggest gripe over the years was people parked in the wrong parking bays at men's and coach parks etc.
