Takes about 1 minute (2 max) using a hair dryer. I wouldn't use a heat gun though, they are too hot and instead of drying the color it boils.

I live in Norway. Grew up in the middle of the country so I could see the Aurora Borealis from time to time in winter. When I moved further north for college, then I could observe the northern lights almost all the time in winter.
