My introduction to Skip Ross was on an Amway tape back in the early '80s: "Skip Ross, Texas Spectacular". The tape is long gone, but the message changed my life for the better. He spoke of things like: "Assume a virtue and you have it."; "spaced repitition" (as a means of mastering any endeavor); "I will until..." (persistence); "Decide what you want; define it clearly and specifically, and write it down." (goals and objectives); and others. That was 30+ years ago and it's as relevant (and useful to me) today as then. As a trainer for Lanier Business Products I often quoted Skip Ross to supplement the training material; to add "meat" to the lesson. As Roger Woodward, who was the Director of Training at Lanier, and one of the finest persons I have had the priviledge of knowing, would say: Skip is "...the real deal." Thank you, Skip Ross; you're one of my heroes.
