The thing about the food delivery robot is it hit the crosswalk sign and everything but the dude was so impatient and rude that they just went regardless. It is scary to think about that even though it was just a robot in that clip but people do this to the elderly and children as well because they are so impatient that they can't wait five seconds to let someone walk across the street, that's why hit and runs are so prominent.

as someone who knits hats a lot. Chávez isn’t technically wrong. there’s a method of hat knitting where you don’t “decrease the stitches but instead pull all the loops together and tie it off inside so it sticks together. this gives it a nice wrinkled look that just kinda feels nice. so yea chavezz, like a circumcision

One misconception I learned about when I first learned to knit was when knitting is shown in cartoons, the needles are always pointing upwards. That's wrong though; you're supposed to hold the needles like you're holding bicycle handlebars. As for the click-clacking, it is there, but unless you're knitting fast, it's not as frequent as books make it out to be.

When I used to knit, my needles point up, not straight up but more slanted. Like this /\ it’s easier to get the right-hand needle through the back(left side) of the loop and lift it off the LH needle.

Yeah, that's how it's meant to work, more or less; cartoons would have you believe the blunted ends were the ones to get stuck up. I can't exactly "quote" which ones, though, so it may very well be a case of Mandela Effect
