Thanks Phil! Hope you're doing well over there. The new parts play the remaster of Quake 1 very well haha

@@philscomputerlabahhh nice! Sounds like you're doing what I'm trying to do, get some time to Catch up on some classic games. Many I haven't played before and still yet to finish the Quake 1 mission packs as well as Duke 3D, Wolf 3D and others. I was feeling the reality of your last video with the CRTs. I've got 1x spare because I know I'm on borrowed time 😂

@@thesmokingcap Same! Many games I just benchmark and never sat down to play properly.

5700X is a really nice middle ground. 8C/16T but with the lower TDP so it runs much cooler than the 5800X, while having like 95% of the perf. Easier to cool quietly. You might like higher refresh rates now your GPU can easily handle it, though. ;)

Indeed! They were really close in performance when I researched plus lower power consumption. It's been a decent CPU for the past year or so. GPU was just lacking some omph really

I Recommeded After A Few Months Get B550 (If You Don't Using Windows 7)

A good platform indeed, My AM4 CPU is only a year old. So will be sticking with the B450 for a little while longer! (as there's no AM5 support on that chipset)

You should get a X570 board you'll thank me.

I would love to, but here in NZ there's only B550 motherboards available really. I found one x570 that seemed to be a "mid range" board. At least my current one has been rock solid and supports decent overclocking
