This month, we’re getting a room free for 2 days weekday, a free gift without having to earn a certain amount of points like some of the other local casinos, and maybe some food and free play, not much. But every little bit helps. Yes, we know that we’ve played a certain amount of money to earn the comps. But we are fortunate and blessed.

Thank u for breakdown of comp. I get a comp room but always alot it to fd as u suggested. With regard to toasters etc. I heard that if a progressive is pulled from the floor they hv to alot it somehow back to the players, by law, and through gifts is one of them. Is this true? My free cruise comp experience is 180 degrees out of phase with yours. I won a cruise at Winstar with low expectations. That 1 card swipe resulted in (1) 7 day cruise and (1) 8 day cruise. When my wife called one of the times, they told her that she did have another (would have been 3rd) cruise available on that same offer, but we had missed the date. We've done very very well on that. We still don't know what we did or how we got bumped up to the elite status making us eligible. I know how points and tier credits work and at no time did we even come close based on our play.

Wearing all black and filming in dim light, all we need is the Darth Vader breathing sounds.🤣Good advice, but I am wondering if you guys look to use free play on the least volatile machines to get something back or look for something that you might get a good bonus to get a big win? Also, I am hosted with MGM Rewards and they have the Holiday Gift event at year end, so I get the blender on top of the food! 🤣

LOL Our lighting was terrible in that room. :) Yeah, low volatility in order to get more churn (coin in) on your points. They keep making Gift Shoppe points worth less and less each year. It's horrible!

MGM opening comp rooms,a few at cheaper places( but Park MGM is one of them) with $50 food credit, nothing free play. Oh well,might call to see if I can get better. Thanks for vid

The rewards desk or go to the host on duty. Usually a desk or office somewhere in or near the casino floor. Just ask them to review your play and ask if it is enough to “comp” any of your room charges. Charge meals and other stuff to your room. Never buy more than you would normally hoping or expecting to be comped.

Just got back from Vegas and stayed at the Nomad and had $450 resort credit. We didn’t use it all up and only spent $300. Question is, are these resort credits also factored in my total comps just like the cost of rooms? Not sure if we should use up all resort credits since our freeplay is going down now from too many suite upgrades.

No there are some casinos who give great comps, and some very little, and I play the same at all casinos. A casino in Laughlin has the absolute best comps. My brother gets the same as I do and he plays 50cents max bet. I go more than he does and he has about $300 worth of non expiring food coupons, I have almost $600. And we have never paid for a room in ovet 25 years. We each get our own. Anothet company has good comps and they have casinos all over US, just not Laughlin.

Riverside Casino in Laughlin now puts expiration dates on the food comps.
