Then either put new cash in, or try a new machine. The practice is just cash out every win and not play on them like we normally do

One of your best videos EVER! Money management is THE key component in trying to profit if that is your goal. Unfortunately 99.9% of people have no goal going in anyway, which is fine, but don’t expect to leave with more money than you went in with. Hoping you get lucky is not a goal. 10% profit on 100 dollar going in isn’t much. BUT it’s 10%. If you were lucky enough to do that (highly unlikely, if not impossible) daily for a year, well that’s a tidy little sum. Consistency and persistence is key. Like you said it’s the small bullets you have actually won several times over that the house knows you will give back on top of your money in. Everyone wants a $10000 payday on a $1 bet. On a trip to the UK I spent a few hours playing slots at a casino in London. The machines there were mostly the same ones (from same companies) I was familiar with in USA except for one difference: instead of adding wins to my total cash, wins were tracked separately. As my cash bankroll decreased I could see the amount of wins adding up in a separate window. I could withdraw those wins to a TITO or transfer to my cash credits. Thus, the machines performed the practice discussed in this video of keeping wins separate - but without the bother of cashing out and having to put more cash in. Slot manufacturers have this for their UK market, they could provide it in US!

I carry $20s and withdraw my slip after a decent win. Sometimes it's a few dollars and other times more. It is hard to quit and not put the money back in. I carry a little bank in my purse, sometimes I use it and sometimes I just feel like playing because I'm having fun. Either way I get mad at myself, because I've been ahead most times then put it back in. That's why I watch these videos so they'll stay in my mind when im gambling. Last two times I went, I won $2,000 and stopped. Then, another $700 and stopped, so I hope that's what I continue to do. My dad always taught me that you walk into the casino with whatever bankroll you have and consider that money already lost. You’re right about not thinking correctly after a big win, Marc. I won the major on Dragon Link last month for a total of $6300 playing 5.00 on a nickel denom. I spent about 2 grand playing $25 spins because I was so excited, and when else am I gonna be able to play big? Thank God hubby won a couple of hand pays plus my winning streak hung on for a bit, or we’d have come home with only half my jackpot, lol. My wife and I have noticed this method a lot at the casinos. It's most often older Asian women that we see doing this and we've always wondered what the hell they're doing. Back in the coin days, keeping your wins was much easier. Every time I won any credits, I would cash out and move my "won" coins to one side of the tray and my bankroll money to the other side of the tray. I played only the coins from the bankroll. When those coins were gone, I was done. I then converted the coins to bills and left with money in my pocket.

I have found the "magic number" for me is my hard limit overall bankroll, whether it is $500 or $5,000. I never go over it, and I never use the ATM to get "a little more ammo." When playing, I use the rule of "Halves and Doubles." If I put $100 in, I walk away if I lose $50, no matter what. That returns to the bankroll. If I at least double up to $200, I print (but not cash) a ticket, and walk away. That's a win in anyone's book. If I am up $50 on a machine, that is my "make or break" moment. I evaluate the machine . Has it been low volatility? Did I just start, and get a lucky line hit or a small bonus? Is it a Buffalo 1800 machine 3 Buffalos away from a guaranteed bonus? There are factors that go into the equation. REGARDLESS: You must have the discipline to hold to the code. Stick to a firm cash limit for play. Pocket the winning tickets, and cash them all in at the end of the trip just before you get in the taxi to the airport. You will love yourself for paying yourself to go on vacation.

Great video Marc, I am guilty of this where I will put say $100 in and I get some 10,15 and sometimes 30 credit wins on the 3 reel slots but will keep playing to chase that bigger win. I've also started playing video poker as well but if you don't play the proper pay tables and proper strategy you can lose quicker. Once again great advice! I never looked at it from an "over the course of time" kind of game,always looking for that big win right away.....Patience and discipline are 2 very important keys in winning "over time" at slots.....Great video!

Great advice, When I get a decent hit ... I cash it out ! Most often I have to feed all my tickets in to total up after a session, but usually it adds up to a really decent amount. If the machine is not hitting after 10-15 pushes, I move on. I call it my hit & run strategy. I have watched people next to me continue to hit that button and lose everything they put in which is sad as its like a feeding frenzy. I had a woman tell me one time, I just can't stop ????? Time to step back and stay out of casinos for a while. I always say " Play Smart " !!!!!

Me and my wife have our way of playing. We put in 20 dollars at a time and whenever we double our money with that original bet we cash out and add another 20 or move on. When we addem up the next morning it is surprising how well we do. Most nights we have a great time and break even and occasionally we do very well. Thanks for all the info!

This is exactly what I do, too. Most times, I go home breaking even or close to that! I collect each win on one voucher, which then turns into my seed money for the next trip!

This might sound silly or like a "superstition", but I seem to feel like the machine does much better, when you have a large amount of money/credits sitting in the machine! That's the reason why I never "cash out", as soon as I get a win! Is that just a superstition of mine? Does anyone else feel this way too????

I hit today. 73$ 😁 I was 5 spins in and walked. The pressure the staff puts on you to keep playing! I hate that. Also are you suppose to tip them? (I’m not drinking)
