The unevenly laid out flooring stones help refract intensive sunlight to many different angles to prevent blindness and allow water to seep through more quickly during the rainy season. It is also a preference for Korean ancestors to keep everything looking as close to nature as possible. So as long as it serves the function everything is less fabricated and used as is which resulted in the flooring being done this way. I think this is very unique
