Everyday I test my blood ketones, blood glucose and breath for ketones. As an endurance athlete my performance improves when ketones are high. I completely crash when my ketones are low. At this point the breath meter alone gives me a good idea of ketones and I can stop testing blood sugar and blood ketones.

Interesting. I've been eating LcHf for 4 weeks, along with running and cycling. I keep my carbs to 25g net. My protein is 20-30% total calories. Fat is roughly 65-75%. I have only registered blood ketones a couple of times on the meter. Usually it just says LOW. My body must burn ketones as fast as it makes them. Any ideas on why some people just don't have many blood ketones circulating? My blood glucose is usually around 78.
