You can use patches to repair holes. My niece have used a turtle, flower, a bee on her nice cotton quilt that her cat damaged. When I first saw it I thought it was part of the design.

I am so glad you now have the Air Con, I bet that has made a world of difference and is so nice that both you and the animals benefit from it. PS: Clarissa, I would find an old pillow case or 2 and cut and sew to size to put all the pillow fill inside of that, then stuff that inside the cushion.

Maybe try laying black plastic along the stone wall to cover the mimosa shoots. In the summer heat it should cook them, as well as denying sunlight. Then next winter have fires to burn the stumps and down into the roots.

When working at a deli, we would put our lettuce in a deep bowl or pot and float it in cold water, in the refrigerator. The leaves stay crisp for a couple of days. You can cut off the roots and put most of the lettuce under-water.

The seed stuck under Frankie's eye can be an grass awn. I have seen some in your earlier videos (a scene with the cats playing/chilling) and was wondering if they are less of a problem in Portugal compared to here in Germany. They are very sticks once dry and work their way up under the skin of the animal with their spikes. Get well Frankie! Edit: they can be seen in this video as week at 15:10

And do that a a view times in the year .In the end it will be gone. All the luck and succes with your beautiful life in Portugal. Greetings from Anjo

I wonder if it would work to lay down the cut Mimosa onto the ground as a thick mulch to stop the new ones growing. Seems like a continuing problem. We have them planted around our 5 acre boundary and have every summer chopped down a few trees for amazing firewood. Burns very hot. We use the small trees for kindling, so haven't really had a problem of spreading until now when we stopped cutting them. Good luck.
