Don't know about that streamer. Looks like at least a lawnmower is what you need. regards.

I totally think the pace is completely normal for a life off grid and totally embodies the whole principle of this way of life. Ignore those impatient comments and do not change a thing!!! Total privilege to be able to see how you both - pets included - have evolved and learned. 🎉 happy new year and please let us continue to see how you are doing in 2025. 😊

Hi, can you please tell me where I can find the information you mentioned regarding the process of buying the land and the rules for building on it. Thank you, we're looking to moving to Portugal and any information would be very helpful.

Hi Tania, it varies from area to area, for example the Algarve or silver coast has more stringent laws on what you’re allowed to build. I would get in touch with a lawyer & architect for the area you’re interested in and ask them as many questions as you can think of. If you google ‘estate agent’ and the area you’re interested in you should be able to speak to someone who can advise you.

I don't think anyone in comments mentioned about the bath needs to be fitted into the wall otherwise the splash water will leak down the wall and will rot the floor and the wall think about otherwise you will spoil all your work

I’ve seen people who have orchards that get geese sheep or goats to take care of the weeds would save you a lot of work plus you’d have extra eggs to sell or even milk and cheese
