I too am getting a great deal of benefit from this series of exercises. Kudos to you for producing it! One thing I'd like to hear, perhaps in a supplementary recording, is your voice singing through the range of each exercise so I can hear what it is supposed to sound like at the upper end. I find my vowels changing substantially as I ascend. That's probably not the goal, but I'd like to hear what the goal is at the upper ends. Again, thank you very much for this tool!

These "wah" exercises were the key to my resonance placement and I finally understood that thing people say about not feeling your voice in the throat. Amazing.

Thanks! Number 9 is a rough one for me as I’m still working on my blending and the constant flipping in and out makes it hard to sustain the breath needed for that long exercise. Gonna keep at it!

My higher registers go into a slight falsetto on the last two exercises! But when I did this lesson, I feel as though my range is getting better and somewhat stronger!! Thank you Mr. Castle!!!

Thak you Ian, this is brilliant. I'm 67 and for the first time, I can feel my range extending. I can't tell if in the higher range I'm staying in my head voice or slipping into falsetto. Any way to tell?

in my experience, the transition from falseto to head voice is always a bit 'ugly' when done on a continuous note.
