New subscriber :) lovely home. I also switched to rags and natural homemade cleaner a few months ago and can't believe I didn't sooner. I always assumed it'd be more work or that it wouldn't be clean enough but seriously, it's so easy! Makes me feel better that no chemicals on the counter and then I just do a load of rags every few days. And you save so much on paper towels or else it was like I was using a wad every night. The girls' heart pillows are so cute!

In Holland we don't wash the dishes before we put it in de dishwasher. That's the job of de dishwasher. It's like you wash your clothes by hand and put it than in the washing machine.

r spruill I'm so happy 😁 we all need some inspiration even myself. The dish soap I purchased a while ago at home goods, I loved the bottle, so now I just refill it with regular dish soap. I recently saw them at TJ Max by the cleaning section 😉

How do you make your all purpose cleaner ?

Debbie Vonklock Hi, I use about 2 cups of distilled water ( that will prevent streaking especially if you have hard water like I do) about a tsp of Dr. Bronners Castile soap and 10 drops of essential oils. My favorite is lemon and use a little more because I love the smell. 🙂

Lesley R Hello there and congrats on your new baby! Let me first tell you that you are doing an amazing job. A few years back I also had a toddler and a newborn and I was lucky if I got to take a shower. Don't ever feel like your not doing enough because you are doing plenty. Ideally this would be my cleaning routine every single day but not everyday is the same and honestly I don't stress about it. It will get done eventually. 🙂

Laura U Hi, Yes, I do! when it comes to cleaning products I like to keep it super simple. The less products I have to buy the better 👍. I use about 2 cups Distilled water (I have hard water) one "squirt" of Dr. Bronner's Castile soap which equals to about a TSP and about 10 drops of essential oil. My fave is 🍋. Hope that helps

Kitty Quick Thanks for stopping by. On the days that I'm at home majority of the day this is what I shoot for. My house is pretty small so it doesn't take as long. But of course there are days when life happens and I might get to some of the tasks and in that case I like to prioritize areas. To me the most important are the kitchen and my bed because I cannot sleep on a messy bed. Other days I don't get to anything at all and that's okay with me 🙂
