RJ, you potentially could spook the horses more by starting your engine as they just passed. The horses have a blind spot behind them, they don't see what's suddenly making the noise. If you leave your engine running they can see what the ruckus is about and won't spook that easily. It's the gesture that counts though, good job on that (and your videos!)

Admire you ,how you cope riding around central London is unbelievable! For me it's so tiring going through busy traffic which i often try to avoid at any possible chance. For myself busy traffic is touble pain as cars are blocking me up or tailgating in purpose just to stare 😅😮.
