I totally get the feeling of wanting to hit a round number of books for the month-it’s a weirdly satisfying thing! Also, I love that you have the hardcover of The Women for daytime reading and the ebook for nighttime-practicality at its finest. Sarah, I was born Oct 1949. And it is hard for me to think The Women as Historical Fiction. But I was two years out of high school when the draft was started for the war. My younger brother was in the draft when he turned 18 but his number was very high so never served. But many of my high school guy people did. I did not go to college so many of the demonstrations were only on tv for me. But reading The Women and all the music in it was definitely real. 😊❤

My Dad was also born in 1949 and I wish he was still alive (for many reasons) but it would have been great to ask him about it. I'll talk to his sister instead. I know it was different here in Canada.

Good evening, Sarah. Personally, I love Mary Kay Andrews. I have never had a bad book from Mary Kay Andrews.I am trying to finish one more book before tomorrow and I have 10 chapters left of the book I am reading. I have not read the Woman yet and probably won't. I remember the Vietnam War and a lot people died. Happy Reading and take care

I checked The Women out from the my local library. My librarian cracked me up because Hadn't been there since my grandmother had the brain bleed. She was showing me where all the books were located.

I read The Women last year. Such a good book. My Dad waa born in 1966 and my Mom was born in 1968. I was born in 1984 I'll be 41 this year. Yes my parents were teenagers when they had me.
