Daily Recap December 8th 2024

Last night I started finding some of Jer holiday bed stuff and pledged to put the tree up. He was super fussy in the wee hours so we were a little tired this morning. His secretions were also thick until after morning care. We celebrated Jamari’s birthday then we played some Trinidad Christmas Parang music to put the tree up. Jer had a ball rocking in the chair and dancing. I’m glad I did it for them. We used the same decorations from last year and found a prelit tree at Walmart for $39. We have collected ornaments each year. Being able to rock the chair, keep his balance and use his legs showed so much progress. The weather was much better so we took a stroll, more like I ran while he raced. Once inside he didn’t want to read and I’m thinking Rudolph is not a favorite. The piggy bank activity still seems to be torture and now that he is washed up and I’m typing this, he is excited and yapping up a storm looking at the tree. Time for his sleep meds 😂😂😂. Today we pray that you make the sacrifices sometime to shake off your funk and make sure your loved ones get memories to cherish. The best gift comes in the form of smiles and time spent together.
