Daily Recap November 15th 2024

Jer was stretched out sleep like a big boy last night. He woke up before the sunrise and I wasn’t ready to function. After toothbrush fallout we danced for a few before he got fussy. After treatments we worked on sorting colors and I think my kid told me no. He wanted to do his own thing all day and was so talkative. I made him a sensory bowl which was a mess but kept him content. We used the tiny pieces to work on his fine motor skills. He then got time on his legs in his walker. He was cheeky in the end preferring to raise his legs instead of stomp. I did catch him walking off though. He really wanted to go outside but I’m not my best today and it was cold. He had so much to say though. Big brother JJ watched him so I could finally take my morning shower at 5:40pm. I know 😞. I’m now eating for the day too. Jer played in his ball pit off the vent and then watched video games. After that I washed him, we played with his toolkit and clapped hands. He was so excited to see Nurse T that he even said her name. Super sweet end to the day. Today we pray that you learn to listen even if things may sound different. Often times the best sounds won’t sound familiar, but you will know it is a blessing sent for you. May we just give ourselves grace to make it through each moment because often one full day can be long enough.
