@@richardwilson2911 I think some of that is due to IOM TT not having to bend over for corporate sponsors. MotoGP, much like F1, has a certain line they have to tow to please where the money is. The IOM TT doesn't have that, yes you've got riders with strong backers, but you also have joe bloggs who has gone at it solo with a limited budget. IOM TT hasn't lost it's identity, it doesn't wrap itself up in another skin to portray itself differently. What you see is what you get - people with balls of steel, complete respect from everyone and everyone enjoying themselves.

I've been watching all these videos of late and I just have to say that production (camera, editing, audio, etc) have been absolutely killing it. I come from a background in production and there's SO MUCH technical prowess on display that isn't fully realized. Great production quality maybe (is that really what attracts viewers these days?!), but very little in the way of seeing the actual bikes on the actual track doing actual racing. A very dull video, unless you like watching 2 slightly interesting people talking about slightly interesting things - I can watch that anywhere, on any channel, or even down my local Co-op. Boring boring boring, yadda yadda yadda.

Really appreciate the quality coverage (and preceding backstory films) from this channel THANK YOU and thanks you riders. Feedback to whomever oversees such things at the Isle: Fact is I'm not a huge 'greenie' (don't get me started on those road sitting ning songs) but I was quiet shocked to see a 1970s approach to waste (background to 5:09 interview) In New Zealand you would not get a permit to hold a large event without a proper waste management plan which includes diverting recyclable waste from landfill AT SOURCE. Black Sacks are non-discriminatory low bar bin approaches. Perhaps some poor sod is sorting aluminium and glass from out of there later on?
