I did the same thing as you, Linna, I went to a farmers market in Canada, and they were offering Broc-a-flower, it was a combination of cauliflower and broccoli. It was a stunning pea green color and tasted like cauliflower......it was tasty😊
@CarinaCoffee4 ай бұрын
@@rachellilley1518 that sounds like Romanesco. Apparently Romanesco is a variety of cauliflower, but I also first heard of it as a mix of broccoli and cauliflower, but it makes sense that it is actually a sort of cauliflower as it tastes more like cauliflower than anything else. Personally I don't like it much, I prefer normal cauliflower, but it looks quite interesting with the little towers for florets. (Nothing beets broccoli though, broccoli is still the tastiest.)

Good idea of thinking ahead and prepping if an emergency arises. After the 2011 earthquake and the following tsunami, I think it would be better to have some food stored if you cannot get to the market or if you are stuck in your house waiting for the rescue.

There is indeed a lot of recycling in Japan and eggs do not need to refrigerated, unless they are washed, meaning the protective coating around them is being washed off 😊

For 4600¥ we can buy 1 gallon of milk, 1 box of cereal, 1 loaf of bread, 1 dozen eggs, 1 box 396g dried udon noodles, 1 package of spareribs the size of yours. The spareribs here would be at least $15, maybe $20. I dont eat much pork due to the worms in the meat. I am afraid I wont cook it long enough. I am also scared of our fruits and vegetables. Highly sprayed with roundup. Does anyone have a recipe for nontoxic fruit and vegetable sprays? What do you or your country use? Ty!
