Not being a trained singer, I truly appreciate a way to sensibly and safely warm up and increase my range. So very much appreciate your vids. This one feels absolutely great. Thank you!!

Thank you so much Jeff. This is wonderful for singing up and down scales, so some different melodies there. Lovely and high too, as it needs to be for the break, as you say. I thought I detected a little "slow trilling" near the beginning which was fun! Thank you again for a good variety of practice.

Usually my break feels so weak but this exercise video made it feel easy to mix and not get a “flip” while still maintaining nice tone in my first passage! Thank you!

I am a male soprano. This was very useful. I struggle a little with the secondo passagio, and this exercise pointed out exactly where I should be working on. I tend to go too heavy on it, which really makes me feel stuck and does not smooth the break properly. However, sometimes trying not to put too much weight, I get very airy, and my voice really breaks or disappears, so I try to put on weight again. This exercise helped me to find some kind of balance. Do any of your videos address this issue deeply?

I'm glad it helped! Just about all of my videos are about vowel alignment and balance of engagement! Some approach it in different ways but neutral, sustainable phonations is what I'm all about. From there, we can choose our own stylistic affectations. Enjoy! Jeff

Marcel, that is a really good and worthwhile reply from Jeff. Do what he says and you will improve in no time! I emphasise what he says about vowel alignment - it is SO necessary and sometimes it's good to work on the blending of them.

@@dianeshepherdlyricsoprano1394 , can you send me some links emphasizing the vowel alignment? Some good examples, tips, and explanations would be great!

Subtitles. Spanish.. please..

I would love it if this, and more of my videos, could get subtitles in other languages. If you, or anyone who happens to read this might know of how to get more of that done, I'd love to hear about it! Best, Jeff
