Thanks for going through the dry patch issue!!! I get the same on my back from too much sun exposure and I am currently trying a anti fungal cream and lots of coconut oil but good to know I’m not the only one. Great video Sammy! Amm xx

Ida Yes it is, people often get it from trying on clothes in stores or trying clothes ordered online before washing them because they are transfered from skin to clothes to skin if it makes sense :)

@@zerinasilahic8285 No, it is not :-) Impetigo does not stem from a overgrowth of a fungus in the skin, and it does remove pigment from the skin. Impetigo is a contagious bacterial skin infection, and the bacteria is not a normal part of the ordinary skin flora. Impetigo looks like a red spot/rash. As she said in the video she gets it when she travels, stays in the sun and bathes a lot. She said it is an overgrowth of benign fungus/yeast that everybody has in their skin, but because of the overgrowth you start getting little dry spots with no pigment. This is due to the fungus inhibiting the pigment in the skin. It is quite normal to get in tropical areas where the temperature is high and the air is moist. I suffer from this myself and get i EVERY time i travel to a warmer climate. The condition is called tinea versicolour or pityriasis versicolor. Found this list of causes of the overgrowth - hot and humid weather -excessive sweating -oily skin -a weakened immune system -hormonal changes

If it’s a bacterial/fungal infection, try oregano oil capsules, it’s a natural antibiotic. i was prescribed antibiotics for acne on my chest and back “to kill the bacteria” and not only they didn’t work, they made me feel absolutely horrific. Oil of oregano does the job without the side effects! You might need take them for a while to see the results tho

Omg yes i had that dry skin stuff to. I used this cream called Nizoral. Its a red little tube and it cleared it all up and i don't have it anymore. I highly recommend it. I'm in Melbourne so you would be able to find it in Sydney :)
