Lovely to see a video pop up while I'm sat on my balcony drinking a coffee in the sunshine. I'm on my last full day in Fuerteventura and I'm planning on doing nothing lol. I've walked my little legs off for the past 8/9 days, averaged 20K steps so hopefully that will counteract all the ice cream and cocktails. Good luck with the house hunting xx

I’m on my second week on Mounjaro and the weight is staying the same for three days now. In 11 days I have lost a total of three and a half pounds, I have for most of those days been in a calorie deficit. At the moment I am unable to go for walks or go out due to a terrible cold and a cough that sounds like I’m hacking up a lung never before have I had one this bad. I don’t sit down all day do the normal housework. The two times I injected myself I ended up with large bruises, I’m afraid of the third dose this Wednesday. If the weight doesn’t start moving soon I’ll give up and control my diabetes with low carb eating which is what I’m doing now why bruise myself every week for nothing. Has anyone go any advise for me especially about bruising 🤷🏻‍♀️ many thanks.

Hiya. I’m also a very slow loser. It’s probably because the starter dose of 2.5mg isn’t enough to trigger a full response yet. I’ve had better success on 5mg but next week I’m moving up to 7.5mg so hopefully it’ll start to properly kick in. As for the bruising, where are you injecting? I found better results injecting the back of my arm in the fattest part. Make sure you’re avoiding muscle, it has to go in a fat layer. Px

Yes, that's right - you have to make sure you inject into a fatty part of either your Timmy, thigh or back of upper arm.
