He’s wrong* about a lot it seems… but, you’re right. The debate had some real obnoxious attacks most toward Vivek who seems to be the only one up there willing to answer honestly, with conviction in his positions. He’s also the only candidate that appears to want to represent the people, not the donors sat in Fox’s audience and the Establishment and themselves. Even Ron and Tim felt absent, and then you had Pence, Haley, and the Jersey Devil taking credit for otherwise very anti conservative positions, achievements and the like while aggressively lashing out at again, Vivek, specifically. It’s very weird to watch their measured responses even to each other, like nobody could just respond without checking with the crowd or one another… only Ramaswamy seems to have a backbone and clear plan for addressing things people really are concerned with. I mean… that stupid as hell climate question… the response was so out if touch, the audience was all but howling over Vivek speaking the truth. They really are approved opposition at Fox, and so to are most every candidate. In fact, the first several hit topic questions were given, not because they’re a concern to regular Americans, but so the press could have a field day today writing all manner of heinous things about each candidate today. It was all meant as theatreto set them all up to fail, and Trump alone avoided that trap.

@@MasterMote I hope you take this in the spirit it's intended, friendly. You make some decent defense of DW. If you look at DW hosts vs Blaze hosts, DW has two solidly conservative people. The rest are varying shades of moderate and I'd put Ben more in the "classic liberal" or blue-dog democrat space. Ben accepts leftist axioms as true, from climate change, to covid, to foreign policy, to vaccines. He accepts the left's assertions about these things but ends up with different courses of action that are more right-leaning or libertarian. He has an innate trust of authority that true conservatives in the tradition of the Constitution do not have. As far as who does more? I think Walsh has done a lot. I like everyone's involvement with TP USA. Walsh nearly single handedly won Virginia governorship, though the reporters at DW did help, the other hosts didn't do much. Glenn Beck led a rescue mission to Afghanistan to extract Americans stranded by the Biden regime. Literally saved lives. Jaco Booyens is incredibly active in anti-trafficking operations. Sara Gonzales and many guests she has on her show fight the trans drag shows non-stop and keep attention on it so it doesn't fall out of the news cycle. Glenn's Mercury One charity has given over $2m to Maoi relief efforts. I think you're discounting Blaze's contributions. One of their hosts, Chad Prather, ran for GOP governor of Texas to the RIGHT of Abbott and forced him to actually start paying lip service to doing SOMETHING useful (though that's all Abbott does, lip service). All of their hosts are also more right-wing than Ben, Jeremy, or Klavan. The thing about Trump in the primary is we have to elect him, not just beat Biden, we have to do it with Trump. If we do not do it with Trump then the Democrats will just do this same shit they've done to Trump since 2015 to whoever we put in there. Everyone fracturing away from him is only going to make his job that much harder when he inevitably wins the primary. The writing is on the wall, stop wasting time, money, and effort pulling in opposite directions. If we put someone else on the ballot than Trump we lose any potential gains in the black community, they will not vote for DeSantis or Vivek. We will lose 10% of the MAGA base who just won't show up. They will not do the ground volunteer work necessary for DeSantis or Vivek, especially if either of them get in because Trump was maliciously removed from primary eligibility. There's a theory being floated now by Charlie Kirk that Asa Hutchinson let the cat out of the bag during the primaries that the RNC rules would not allow Trump to become the nominee. If the RNC pulls that stunt, and don't put it past them they all despise Trump, then the RNC is over. They will never win another national election and will lose both chambers because it will demoralize 65% of the party to have Trump disqualified by our own party.

Aside from the fact that he came across much in the same way as the over-eager “know it all” kids from 5th grade math class, his shots back and forth with Christie and Pence were eye-roll inducing (they both seemed to really have it out for him specifically) and his comment early on about having all the canned answers out of the way really just didn’t sit well with me. For a guy who is constantly talked about for his ability to think and speak on the fly, his answers were all extremely repetitive and nearly verbatim recollections of things he’s said in other recent forums. I like him, but was left wanting more from him…and oddly less as well, as his excitement had gotten out of hand a few times. Desantis seemed to be the favorite of the Fox hosts (they played straight to his strengths) and he did show out strong tonight. If Vivek isn’t careful, Desantis could take back his place at #2.

@@nathanaelstricker9056interesting feedback. I took Vivek repeating talking points as him standing firm on what he believes in and not flip flopping. Staying consistent on his statements from previous town halls/podcast. With him going in with heat, it shows, to me, he not going on a political narrative and is going to state the truth to his beliefs, regardless of the crossfire. Something similar to Trump. It’s true, a lot of those candidates are Super PAC puppets who are bought by lobbyists and are controlled. I admire Vivek taking a stance and pointing out his beliefs unapologetically.

And both of them talked over whole Vivek tried to respond. And he was the childish one. He's the only one with any conviction bcoz he's here on his behalf not on the behalf of democrats or billionaires
