I hope you feel better Missy! Remember, don't hesitate to go to the doc and get some anti-nausea medicine if it comes down to it. I know maybe you won't want to, but if it gets to the point where just daily functioning is difficult, I think medicine could really help you out. :) The first trimester is no joke! You'll get through it soon enough!

also if the throwing up gets really bad talk to your DR about getting an anti nausea medicine, I hated taking it but I could hardly leave the house and I had to work so I had to give in and take it, it did help a bit, I still felt sick but didn't throw up, for me I went from 106lb to 93lb in 6 days from throwing up so much

4-6 hour grooming?? my groomer takes around 40 minutes to a hour and a half. thats insane! I can barely leave my pup there for that small amount of time. lol

still doesn't really make sense, if their so busy they could just tell them to come when they plan to groomer the dog. i don't understand why bringing the dog hours early saves them time. lol

why would they need a dog 6 hours for a cut? unless its a huge dog like a malamute I don't see why grooming would take so long, missy was saying that they take him and kennel him for the majority of the time, which is stressful for him. I have a dog too so idk why that makes anyone a expert :P

Jessica Fahey Art i agree, I'd never go to a groomer that wants to kennel my dog. I guess it's one way to do it, but the only time the dog needs to spend there is while he's being groomed. I don't kennel my dog at home, I'm not going to let the groomer do that.

Missy and Bryan I used to work at PETCO in the Grooming Salon. We do say the 4 to 6 hour time limit to make sure your pet, Karma, completely dry after bathing. They will do really good bath so they are completely clean to trim or shave the fur. They also don't want to stress the pet out by doing everything in one sitting. Also PETCO makes a groomer work on at least 6 dogs a day also cats if the groomer wants to groom a cat. It is just to make sure you get a very good quality service for your pet 🐱🐾🐺

On the news last night they were showing these bracelets for pregnant women. Some lady here in Florida invented them and they are selling like crazy. They are called No More Nausea and people claim they really work they are new and not the magnet ones. I thought of Missy and maybe she could try one to see if it helps her feel better.

Missy the two things that hands down helped me a lot when pregnant and sick was peppermint essential oil in water and also lemon too I swear by it helped me with nausea and reduced me from throwing up! Also seabands! They help for sickness in the car too!!

I used to work in grooming at Petco and what we did was take all the dogs in the morning and bathe them all, then put them in kennels with dryers and give them haircuts from first appointment to last. It saved us down time in between dogs, meaning we could fit more customers in a day.
