You can try a large bubbler to agitate the surface of the goats water to prevent freezing if you don't have or want to get a heater. Happy you enjoyed your snow experience. We got slammed in Canada too and I am definitely not built for winter.

Up here in the northern California I see a mountains we do get all four seasons most the time except for a year and a half we had summer to Winter cold butt dry then we get 3 inches then it would melt very dry winter for us usually we have 20 to 25 feet by now I know that sounds scary but we go shopping and everything before winter hits we've got storage and freezers and things like that incase will it get snowed in let the snow plows help out a lot sending a huge amount of love hugs and prayers always♥♥♥♥♥♥♥🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
